Excellent work! I've been working on this ONN tablet for months!
Had google lock client lost password to.
I've tried every method I could, all ran into problem
of 95% been done and then on final reboot, it went to loops.
Your idea of disable/enable worked!
I had done same as before, got the ding from disabling services,
and the lock disappeared, but when I goto wifi it wouldn't allow me
to setup offline before.
I had to mod it tho, at least for me and my version.
When you show gboard the second time, mine had permissions
blanked out, whilst yours was highlighted.
I had to redo everything and when gboard came up second time
I went to its other options, help, etc. etc.
After that I came back to gboard and it permissions were highlighted.
Renabled services and back to start and WOW it worked!

omggg thank you got my brother the tablet for christmas but he never used it i took it for my step son but my brother couldn’t remember the password 😂 this was the only thing that helped get past the “previous pin” screen 😮‍💨
