My wife and I run a small Thai restaurant/ take-away in regional Australia , located just around the corner from the local theater. Ross was booked there for that night and we were packed with people getting a feed before the show. The theater owner , a regular customer , told me that Ross might drop in for a meal and sugested that he didn't like being recognised. In walks this little guy wearing a flat cap who quietly orders a meal . It was Ross . With his hair tucked inside his cap I didn't realise who it was until he spoke . I played it cool and took his order as I would from anyone else . He sat down and ate his meal with his tour manager and then left to get ready for the show . His larger than life face had been plastered all over town for months , as his previous show was cancelled due to floods . Not a single person in the restaurant, all of them Ross Noble fans , recognised him . He is much smaller in person than he appears on TV.
