I couldn't help but to laugh when listening to this, ( not at you just my personal experiences) considering I know there are times that people think I'm not listening to them. I think it's important to understand the difference between listening and accepting other people's opinions or viewpoints, listening is taking in consideration, and accepting is taking that consideration and agreeing with them.
But just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean I wasn't listening. I can feel that if people know that you have this placement, it's easy for them to point to your South node, and blame that as to why they feel that you didn't accept what they have to say.
Also think it's important to understand that we are still going to and should have our own viewpoints and not fork them over simply because we have a North node in Gemini. I also have an aquarius Moon, so that adds to the need for logic and rationality. So what would often times happen, is I would be curious, and ask people questions about why they believe what they believe.
But because I asked from a logical rational standpoint, if they are not able to provide an explanation as to how they reached to that conclusion (reach being from point A to point B, because if you didn't reach for it, you just came to it). It's not that I have never been willing to learn, it's that I feel like no one has had the patience to teaching me, nor answering my questions on how the thing that they are wanting to teach me even works.
So it really boils down to listen to those people who in FACT know something you don't that is actually truthful. To be completely honest though, I spent a few minutes listening to you almost devaluate somebody who has this placement, as if their viewpoint doesn't matter, that ours are "out dated" compared to others.
Yet I've also heard other astrologers, say that in fact we do know a lot, and oftentimes we are in the right, BUT we are not always right and still need to be open to other people's viewpoints. So who should I listen to you or them?. If I listen to them, am I just being egotistic because they are saying what my sn wants to hear? Or by listening to them am I still following my North node, by at least understanding that even if I'm right majority at a time, I can't believe that I am because I still need to be open to other people's viewpoints?, this is not a statement I'm making by the way, this is just an observation.
Majority of the time in my past, I feel like I was right, not because of the statements I made, but because I knew how to ask the right questions. It highly depends on the person that you're listening to as well, this is why I take this kind of information with a grain of salt. There's other parts to a person's chart, that one placement, can't tell anyone about their whole personality. I understand this is just a general video, but to me it's like trying to explain how a car works, but only describing what the brakes do and leaving everything else out.
Wow,...as a 56yo Gemini north node, I hope people can see I'm not a close minded, know-it-all, which you seem to be describing. Of course, I'll never be one to sugar-coat bs, lol. I did manage to escape Christian fundamentalism by age 50, so perhaps there is hope for me. I've always, since adolescence, had people in my life who have appreciated my listening skills. This description is very discouraging.

You can generate a natal chart online for free, or you can get an astrologer to calculate it for you. You can also google "North Node Calculator"
This explanation is a little limited. They already know many things, they tend to be wise but they tend to preach ,that's the part they need to work out . Also, learning how to be practical with the accumulated knowledge, that's the other focus here. But you made them look here like ignorants with big intelectual ego. Not agreed at all.
