Studios in my country: Yeah on Monday you do character design, wednesay is for backgrounds and then you start animating and modelling until Sunda. Also, do you make good coffee?

THIS HELPED ME SOOO MUCH!! THank YOU!
In highschool my teach didnt know a lot about it as she had other classes but taught us many things we needed to know, basic wise.
For years I knew there were sooooo many roles and labels in the industry I didnt know.
its not simple as it sounds to say " I wanna be an animator, working in the film industry", whi,e I knew none of the actual titles of roles to look up..
Knowing stuff like this allows someone to actually know where their goals are and give a clue on how they can lookup to get there.

It’s strange cause I thought the storyboard revisionist would be more important than the storyboard artist since they have to fix any mistakes. I would’ve thought that they would give that role to someone higher up.

I am trying to learn about and move into illustration and animation and I didn't know where to start. A friend sent me this video and I was amazed and impressed by the many different areas that exist in the entertainment industry. Animation. I loved it.
Please, would it be possible for you to comment on/inform me about the different specificities that exist in each area? In many other videos, like a series...
    For example:
    - Rigger = what are the lines and different possibilities...
    - Effects animator = what are the lines and different possibilities...
    - Layout artists = what are the lines and different possibilities...
and others, and if possible, give examples with images.
I am from São Paulo/São Paulo - Brazil / Visual Artist, looking for new fields...
Thank you again and sorry for the long text/request.

this is pretty much the biggest question i had about the industry. At no point did anyone give me a full clear list of what there is to do.
I am also curious, i often see creators or other artists listed as doing multiple of the jobs you mentioned: in a lot of my favourite shows the creator worked both in in writing full scripts, as well as animating some scenes or storyboarding. I would love to know how jobs in aniamtion overlap and how flexible each person's role is
