Super hyped for the caiman! 😍 Also, grey seal pups can't swim, due to their fur not being waterproof, so I'm actually glad the pups stay on land. 😊 Same with the penguins. 😊
It’s a great pack, kinda wish they’d added maybe 2-3 terrapins to show off the new exhibit-design (probably would’ve been relatively simple reskins!) But regardless, this pack is awesome, especially the decorations!

The animals are SO cute! Honestly though I’m most stoked for the building pieces. Having built in waterfalls, and preset grass beds for grass roof stuff Is SO helpful, and I love how much of the new stuff is recolorable. They definitely did a good job giving us stuff that fit the theme of the pack but could also be used in almost any project
I live in a small coastal town so a grey seal isn't uncommon for me to see, they look super cool and the detail is amazing as ever. Planet Zoo really has done so well.
I’ll hand it to Frontier. There could’ve been an easy opportunity to go with loads of really water-themed over the top items which would’ve been really hard to build a zoo with. But they’ve gone with really realistic glass, railings, plants, walls and decorations that you can literally use in everyday zoo building. It’s just what the game needed! The only item I don’t really see myself ever using is the path (which is kind of what I meant when I was talking about really heavy theming). So well done Frontier, you’ve really done well with this pack! Once I’ve built exhibits for all the animals in the pack, I’ll be making use of the items all the time - something which I found a lot harder with the other three DLCs..
Got the pack right away.... just don’t have time to play right now! Will enjoy watching what you do... and hopefully have a chance to play over the holidays! Thanks for the overview!
I highly doubt they will add Orcas and Dolphins etc due to for example seaworld treating them so badly in captivity. (I think its illegal keeping orcas?) Sure this is just a game, but i dont think it would be very PC of them to put this in the game. Would be crazy fun tho!

Very late to the party but my boyfriend gifted me the pack earlier today after i got home from a stressful exam. Im so excited to play with the animals myself, really looking forward to the seals, they're beyond adorable🌈😁 oh and the Caimans, they're really pretty

My mother is getting me planet zoo for Christmas ( I think ) and I have been watching your vids for hours each and pretty much every day. I cant wait to play this game with all the awsome new animals being added. (She is getting me the full edition she always gets me the full edition of games)
I just wish there were more than 4 animals. They go through all the trouble of giving each animal custom animations which is a lot of work. It would have been relatively easy to include an extra penguin species and/or an extra seal species. This pack is probably the best one yet. However it is still lacking imo.
I am just glad Frontier takes their time and puts in a lot of effort, so I am glad they only add a few animals in the packs! Unlike the people who made zoo tycoon 2, yes there may have been more animals but you have to say, their not as animated and cool to look at! Frontier is the best!
@@afreyno1 Zoo tycoon 2 was made in 2004. It's quite a pointess comparison. I do agree that each animal is of high quality but I, and many other people, would still like to see a shift towards more animals and less building materials in each DLC. The fact is, a lot of people are unhappy with how frontier currently handles their DLC. You probably won't find many here, but the reviews on steam say it all. When 30-40% of the people that buy your DLC is unhappy with their purchase that's really bad.
Whole I do love the look of this dlc on the whole, I have got one small concern, which is that not much has been said about implementing diving among animals already in the game. I know there's the screenshot of the saltwater crocodile, and as you mentioned gharials and polar bears will almost certainly be others, but apart from those there's nothing else. Nile monitors, tapirs, brown bears, elephants, jaguars, tigers, these and many more can and will submerge when feeding, playing, or travelling, so it would be a wasted opportunity to leave the diving for a select few animals in my mind. Also, I wonder if they will add in underwater feeders for herbivorous animals at some point, given that a few herbivores do forage underwear.
But frontier said they will be updating ALL animals that should be diving or deep swimming in the future ☺ so whats the worry ☺ I just mentioned Gharial and Polar bear cause I am expecting those two (and all other bears) to be the first to be updated ☺ thats all ☺ hihi

I really hope they add aquariums soon. The animals in them don't even have to have AI, in my opinion. It would already be cool if they had pre-animated moving patterns they just play and repeat. And as they already have these animated turtles Frontier should be able to implement aquariums rather easily.
I bought the base game and all packs on a discount, so I have not been bothered by it only being a few animals, however, I would pay more if there were more animals.
Does anyone else have an issue with the penguins and the included medium penguin enclosure? - The penguins immediately get stressed out and it says they don't have enough deep water and don't have enough land to walk on. Makes the enclosure useless.

The diamondback terrapin opens the door for moving exhibit animals, i really wish that a moving exhibit animals expansion comes as an update and we can see the reptiles, insects and the snails move
The animals look great, but it was never in doubt that they would not look good. There are a few things that are a little disappointing about the pack, but over all this pack looks good.
I can’t see them adding big aquatic creatures like Sharks, given how cruel their keeping in zoos and aquariums is now viewed in the modern world, and how big ethics and conservation is to the gamedev team. If people complained about the amount of space Polar Bears needed, you know they would complain about the amount of space sharks would need for them to be ethically realistic.
I really would like a nice aquarium update, but this is great as well. Next up should be: Walrus, Sea Lion, Elephant Seal, Dolphins and Orcas. Orcas and Dolphins are especially problematic in real zoos, but this is a game so its okay.
Idea: you could make that body of water in the mandrill habitat a new one for an aquatic animal. I would be nice to see two animals side by side Also that would make a “double habitat”

J very wait for this pack and update and J'm very happy that we have aqatic animals in PLANET ZOO. J want to see flying birds in this game.
