$20 for a pop and popcorn in Nebraska now. Most movie are $13 now. All day long. I remember when you went before 6 it was only $5 or $6 .

Matinee certainly isn't the deal it used to be either.

Competition with actual live events, redundant unoriginal content being made. Marvel kind of killed movie going as well.
Not to mention there is a rise in standup comedy being more entertaining and less “woke”. I’d also argue people can find whatever they want for free on RUclips.

Yes, there are so many more entertainment options out there now as well. That is a good point.
