Saw this in a market for £100 and picked it up as it was fun and really appealed to me. Decided to do research subsequently, glad I found your video on it.
This watch looks so fun and is an eye catcher. Wow. It takes me back in time. How the heck am I going to hide this purchase from my wife. She thinks my 7 watches are enough. Mmmm. Let me think.
I have just know it, and fell in love with it. It took me only 5 minutes to decide to get mine on Amazon. Just waiting for February 22 to have mine in my hands here in Chile. This will be my 7th watch, and my first Bulova. All the others are Seiko.
I totally agree with what you say here Teddy! I've had this one for a couple of months and love how different/cool it is for casual situations. The only downside for me was the strap, but on a brown leather one it looks amazing! Love your content and the level of effort and attention you give to so many watches!
I just picked this up and it’s great and matches very well with the Devil Diver reissue. Bulova also seems to have kept these two almost identical to the originals
Wow! First time I purchased a watch ⌚ before I knew Teddy did a review! Priced at 600 got it from kay jewelers for 287! Makes you wonder 🤔 how much it cost to make these watches but as an enthusiasts I love it! The illumination on this piece is incredible compared to the citizen and gshocks I have.
Teddy, thank you for the deep dive (pun intended) of information in your videos and abundance of macro shots! Oddly enough…this watch literally showed up in my package locker at home…and no my wife didn’t surprise me. Maybe work as an performance gift? I’ll find out. Thank you for exceedingly high quality videos🙌🏼
Really just a fun piece! Agreed that quartz is the way to go for more enjoyment of this style (value proposition), unless you are the type of collector that goes for this style at any price and really tries to keep to mechanical/automatic movements.
I love the 70s design style of this watch. Maybe I can afford it some day but for now will stick with my 1970s Raketa 2628H TV dial watch which is still running strong and accurate after I bought it on eBay for $30 two years ago.
Teddy your content is Phenomenal! , I always had a keen eye for watches but now wanting to build a collection for myself and have been viewing clip after clip of your reviews, it's a credit to you how you detail and explain each piece!
Bulova never quite gives you it all, and when they do they charge you too much for it. That being said, this is actually a real cool piece. I do like how they keep their heritage front and center. It's got sapphire and 200m water resistance, too, which is a *real* *short* list from Bulova, lol. It's "just" a Miyota underneath, accurate and reliable but not worth retail IMO. Imagine this model with their precisionist movement!
I don’t know what it is, but I love watches like this. Another great MechaQuartz company is Yema, I have the panda Rallygraf and it’s been great so far.
I'm a collector. I have several vintage Bulovas and some modern. One reissue I have is the first "compressor" type dual crown snorkel which while I would have changed several things, primarily the size, but I think a beautiful watch. Especially with a good shark mesh bracelet. I'm going to pick this one up in this color. Your photography sold me. The macro shots make it like like Bulova put a lot of thought into the dial and indices, and it really looks nicely put together especially at the current price range 👌
My father pass my the Accutron spaceview 899999... i put a new battery and the thing still humming, not keeping the time accurately but works after so many years.
Invicta makes a dead on copy of this! It is Quartz and and can be purchased for only fifty dollars but it is not a chronograph,It is a Trilple time, but at fifty bucks its a lot of fun!
I think it's a properly cool watch but I'd have really like to have seen a mechanical version. The quartz is cool and all but mechanical would be cooler. Probably not as reliable though. The aesthetic is awesome though, definitely a fan of it.
Bulova could really get back into the market if they just stopped making GIANT watches, like their moon watch should be their flagship watch, but its 45 mm
I wish for Invicta & other low-cost watch makers to copy & mimic this piece of shit, at a very cheap price, same gearbox, dial, bezel, case as this watch, domed mineral crystal, 200m water resistance, for watch snobs who hate Bulova. I hate Bulova, watch snob here.
I think Bulova is smart to use it's back catalog as inspiration. Wish they would stick with the 9015 on mechanicals.

Invicta has issued a watch that is a Dead on copy of this watch,However,it is a Triple time, not a chronograph!
@@soycolombianisimohow was it? Do you enjoy the watch?

I placed a mesh strap on mine to give it a super retro look.
Ordered a navy blue fluco for mine. Which brown leather did u order??
@@jeffd3802 You will love the watch! I got one custom made in a leather shop in my hometown in Ecuador.
Summer is coming so I love the strap!
The strap is fine the bezel ruins it for me
Was just binge watching your videos with Kevin, Great Timing! I'm quite new to this stuff and I seem to enjoy your content quite a lot!
I just picked this up and it’s great and matches very well with the Devil Diver reissue. Bulova also seems to have kept these two almost identical to the originals
The first time I saw this watch I hated it. But it really has grown on me, and I'm seriously considering one!

I'm scared of mechanical cronos

One of my favorites to wear PERIOD!
(At least in this price range 100%🎉)
I have one to sell at chrono24
better than the parking meter
Curious, is that $695 price the MSRP or the actual asking price ?? And is this the same model that’s available just about everywhere for mid $300’s ??
I have one. It’s just a fun summer watch.

They sell these as mechanical watches, but they’re a LOT more expensive
@@OuijTube fair enough. Still really cool though. Thanks for the information
darn love this watch
Love and bought this a while ago. They are $395 on joma
They're closer to $318 during the winter sale
They are now One thousand dollars more than that!
maybe you're talking about the Invicta Triple Time!
Teddy, How did this identical Invicta come about?
I have just ordered mine on Amazon. Eager for it to arrive here in Chile. Such eye catcher!
Great cheap/beater summer watch.
They could have gone with the hi Hertz movement. Instead of the citizen movement.
Hello, the bezel is aliminium or cerami ? Regards
Pretty watch. The seconds hand doesn't seem to move like your average quartz movement.
The seconds hand is the small dial on the right
To me this looks like japan ultraman's hero watch which can use for emergency communicate , Anyway it is beautiful watch.
Invicta has issued a Dead on copy of this watch,However it is a Triple time, not a chronograph!
on 2:07 I notice it is already scratched. But cool definetely
They sell this at Costco for like $330
$270 now.
I think this watch has an identity crisis. It is sold as a dive watch but outside the 200m water resistance it is more a racing chronograph.
I'd pay the 70's price for a quartz...if you're going to go in for a penny...may as well go Auto.
very similar to a vintage Breitling....
Got mine at Costco for $329
lululemon jacket
Bulova could really get back into the market if they just stopped making GIANT watches, like their moon watch should be their flagship watch, but its 45 mm
I agree 100%. I'd love a lunar pilot but they won't make a smaller one. Shame because I think it would be so popular
@@WesWatchRoom agree, if they made a 40mm version it wud sell so well.

Stop saying SECOND hand. It’s the SECONDS hand.
Looks like a pregnancy test device.

How do you hate on Bulova but want to buy an Invicta 😂 at least there is some historical value to Bulova’s past
