For me, meditation is practice for the other 23 hours of the day: for shifting my state of consciousness from the enclosed confines of my black-and-white thought box… to open spacious awareness of the world, the energy, physical objects and people…all transient manifestations of the field. For me a state where everything is in hyperreal technicolor and three dimensionality (always brings a smile). But hard to maintain for long before thoughts hijack my consciousness and shrink it back into my skull. How to lessen the frequency of that re-constriction? …..become better at detecting loss of the field, or better at sensing the thoughts that are lowering the blinds again. In this meditation, my insight is for the latter: detecting the energy of thought or pre-thought earlier and letting it diffuse into the space before coming engaged. Thanks for the guidance. Curt
Thank you ❤
