Hey man, thanks for the great support. Had a small break over Christmas and also January is full of birthdays in my family. How are you? Found anything juicy for your collection? Hope you enjoy the vid!
Hey man! It's a good day for me when I read a comment for you my friend. How's it going? I have some very very good news to tell you! I found a super treasure hunt out in the wild and I look forward to uploading a video about it in the future. Also the company I ordered the modern classics sealed case messaged me to say their supplier was behind after the busy Christmas period but hopefully my box will ship soon. That means I have to sit on it and wait to film after my next hunting video haha. I'm not sure I can have that much self control. How are you man? Have you found anything nice to add into your collection recently? How's life?
@ hey, how are you? Super cool news about the STH. I lucky I find a decent amount of them but only at certain stores. My buddy who is retired finds way more. The 2 weeks before Christmas I found back to back Lambo STH at the same store 2 different locations. 2 weeks prior I found 2 of the El Caminos at the same store but a 3rd location. This particular grocery store I hit about 5-7 locations. I've been laid up the past 4 weeks recovering from a planned health situation so I haven't hunted at all which ok as i needed a break. Not sure I told you but I also pulled 2 for 2 Race Dat Roxy chases from the 2 sealed cases I bought but my 2 Modern Classic cases were both busts. Oh well. That's the only Chase left since they started car culture chases. Can't wait to see the video and your excitement. Cheers and of course happy hunting!
Wowowow!! Holy whaaaaa...! You hit the jackpot. Oh man, never ever move from where you are currently living because that sweet update is just a fantasy story for anyone living in the UK especially a highly populated area like me. Wow. I'm cool with whatever comes out of my modern classic sealed case of 10 as for real you have NOT seen those two skylines and the silver Mercedes in my videos and I check stores so much more now and never seen them in real life. Nice to have a set to open too. Gonna make that STH video and then I'll start work on the modern classics case. Congrats man. I'm actually super stoked for you as I can imagine how pumped and excited you must have been as all of those treasures went to a real collector and I know you will respectfully enjoy them. Thanks for the best updates always. Wish you well and sending good vibes with your road to full recovery and good health my dude. Take it easy and you'll be pleased when you can get back in store and start to enjoy this crazy fun hobby again! Cheers
@ my buddy finally found an El Camino but it was destroyed so it's an opener for him so I'm going to give him 1 of my 3 and he will give me a 2nd Benz. I just need 2 Silverados and I have 2 full sets plus several in triplicate and quads. Since THs came out I've found less than 10 at big box places like Walmart & Target but hundreds at grocery stores.
Thanks man! At the end of the video I show exactly what I bought and I'm sure you'll agree that I always leave behind a TON of decent cars for other collectors. Although I'm sure they don't stay hung up for long. Also happy to share what I find with another collector at the pegs as well. Have you found anything nice for your collection recently? What's on the top of your most wanted list right now?
Yeah man. Cupra so so nice outside of the packaging. Literally ripped mine open first when I got home. You'll be very pleased to learn that I actually found a super 2 days ago so I'll make another hunting video and show you. Keep on the good hunt and I hope you can find what you're looking for. I'm checking well over 20 stores 3 times a week now. These videos are the highlights. Thanks for being one of the cool hot wheels guys
Check out my last video. You better believe that Smyths Toys and the Entertianer toy shop both check stock before putting out the scraps for collectors like us... also... maybe you will be interested to learn that I might have a 2nd super treasure hunt video coming soon! 🔥
You are lucky to live close to a good B&M and Tesco. It's very rare for me to buy any hot wheels at all from those stores. Wish you all the best for your next hunting adventure! Thanks for being here
We have a tiny home bargains in town, and they only have 6 pegs, so maybe 36 castings at a time. On Saturday they restocked and on my afternoon visit the very last casting I picked was the Huracan STH from 24. I couldn’t believe it, only my second STH. ❤😊
EPIC! Storytime. Love it dude. That's a dream come true and oh man did you find a good one! Do you keep your STH cars in protectors? Enjoy the great trophy in your collection. Buy a loose Lambo STH or a cheaper one so you don't have to open the one you found. Enjoying the cars outside of the packaging is a great feeling! Congratz man, super happy for you!
Haha. Perfect! Oh man my daughter and my son have a decent sized "bucket of hot wheels" that they can enjoy instead of destroying my 1:64 trophies 🤣 for real! Enjoy man. A great feeling to know you beat the odds and got lucky. Pleased that special car lives in your collection and not on eBay 👍
Just recently got interested in HW and getting very dissapointed with reality you can't find shit in the shops in my country. Resellers clean pretty much everything. I can buy online whatever I want and rather cheap, but the joy is finding yourself.
Hey man, how's it going? Which country are you in? I couldn't agree more and that's why I made this video. I have wanted to make this one for about 5 months now. At the moment I check about 20+ stores 3 times a day week to make these highlight videos. It's a lot of work but I want to inspire people just like yourself to get out there and enjoy the hunt in your area and discover that a fresh restock and harder to find pieces really are out there. Scalpers can't hunt 24/7 and if you try new things you eventually get really lucky. I also go out with my family to new places. Enjoy the area get some food and check a couple of stores whilst I'm there. Yes, of course like today I went out hunting and found two cars worth holding up to the camera. But that's fine. There's always next time and I enjoy spending my free time hunting for the harder to find pieces and making a video about it. I'm learning video editing by doing this channel and I'm learning a lot. Keep on the good hunt man and try to focus on growing your collection your way. I miss out on pieces for my collection to but it's fine. Winning and losing is a part of life and a part of this hobby too. Don't encourage people on eBay or similar. Like you said. The joy is finding it for yourself 👍 good luck out there brother
@customcollects thanks mate. I am from Lithuania. Thanks for your videos, fun to watch. Try to do some more digging in those pegs and boxes, so viewers can "hunt" with you together 😃.
You're welcome my friend. I would love to visit beautiful Lithuania 🇱🇹 one day. How much do you have to pay for one mainline basic hot wheels car in your currency??
I think you've hit on a great metric for gauging how scalped a shop is: Time To JDM. If it takes more than 30 seconds to find any form of legendary Japanese car, there's probably not much point in digging. Great work with this. How long does it take you to visit all these shops? It looks like such a lot of work. Surely this is several days of filming? Also, no love for the '66 Buick Riviera? Such a cool classic cruiser and looks amazing in teal for 2025. Also, people are sleeping on the Stratos Zero?! That and the Metro 6R4 are all I care about from Hammer Drop. I will admit I'd rather have it in silver than orange but as soon as I see one, it's coming home with me. One of the most legendary and influential concept cars in history, got to have one. I really hope they do more classic concepts. Even if they just stuck to Bertone, they could make so many amazing cars.
Hey man! Reaallly enjoy reading your comments / updates. You are very knowledgeable and a kind person too. Thank you for actually understanding the hard work that goes into making one of my videos. I do everything all by myself in my free time. I am currently checking 20+ stores about 3 times each a week. These videos are the highlights of course and it usually works out that I ditch 5-6 store visits I thought were any good and then I'm left with the interesting stuff and I usually have 1.5-2.5 hours of footage that I then edit down into a 20 minute video like this. Hope you enjoy this insight! Trying my best to be as original and creative with my content. Not stressing to much and just uploading when I can. Showing and sharing the cars that I love. I understand that us brits should learn more and enjoy more American cars. Corvette and Camaro ones I really enjoy. How are you man? Have you bought anything nice for your collection recently?
My local B&M had a full height restock this week…..of brand new 2020 hot wheels! 😮 I ended up buying 15 castings I’ve never even seen before. But the record is my local WH Smith’s who last week had a battered old casting on at full price of £2.99. It was a Kokomo Fire dept Camaro RS from 2012! 😂
Bro how is everyone's B&M fully stocked! Another collector told me theirs had 2024 Q case!!!! How? I have been back to my local B&M 3 times now and it was a bitter disappointment 🤣 haha. Hopefully my restock will happen eventually. I'll be sure to film in there when it does. Lots of great 2020 hot wheels! Keep on building your awesome collection man. Appreciate the comment and your great support too. Thanks man
Oh man! Haha. It's getting crazy 😜 bro, stick with me I have some very very big plans for 2025/2026 and I can't wait to share it with you in the future. If you watched my "storage hacks" video I now have over 10 of those plastic cases all full and I need to buy more. Hunting videos doing well and of course I have too many video ideas and not enough time in my life to make them quickly enough but I'm trying. Hopefully I can make videos for a job and I would like to hire people to help me like other big creators. Thanks for being here mate. It means a lot to me. A lot of hard work goes into making them. Hope you have been finding some nice pieces for your collection too man! Keep on the good hunt.
Yes this is something I've even built a term for... it's called "employee resellers" unfortunately we suffer like in other hobbies, the LEGO guys and TCG guys all struggle against people who want to make money. People only care about the value and not interested so much in ripping open cars to put on display in a collection like we do. But what can we do? In all my videos I show and expose boxes of hot wheels that have clearly been sorted through first even when I'm the first customer to look through the box. People just see dollar signs and treat hot wheels like a crypto currency to buy and sit on to see if the price goes up. Always open up and enjoy your cars man! It's good that you and I care and enjoy this hobby how it should be 👍
In Ireland just impossible to find rocket bunny skyline. I was really looking for it, but I even didn’t find any models from this set, but if believe website, they had it. But resellers just grabbed everything
Hey man, how's it going? Is this Northern Ireland or Ireland? I don't collect or like Pokemon cards but the TCG guys suffer like we do. Too many people pushing reselling on social media and making people believe that hot wheels can be like a new crypto currency or something. Dude. Literally my thumbnail is what you're talking about. I check A LOT to be able to make these highlight videos and I have never found the rocket bunny or greddy skyline out in the wild. Employees must just buy a full box of 10 and take it home to list on eBay (sad life) Did you ever see the silver Mercedes hung up in store because then you're doing better than me LOL
@ both, I live between Irish city, and north Irish city, so I check both. I’ve never seen any modern classic model in shops, but I know by website, that they were there. So workers or their friends just took everything.
Not to be specific but whereabouts in the UK do you go hunting? I’m based in London and have only recently got into collecting a HW as an adult with money now lol so wondering where the best places were
Hey man, the short answer is this. I am not hunting in special stores. I don't have staff help me or call me up when new stock comes in. In my video I literally show you the name of the stores I visit. If you check these places anywhere in the UK 3-4 times a week like I do then eventually you get lucky that one time and find what you're looking for. Yes. Quite often I find zero. Nothing. Just 3 fantasy cars and it's all a huge waste of my time. There are no magical toy shops that get special stock. From Scotland to the south coast of England it's the same chain stores getting the exact same stuff. You just gotta look as often as I do and you eventually find what you're looking for. Is it worth the time, effort, fuel and money?? Well. That's for you to decide. Hope you enjoyed the video. Would have been nice if you at least commented something positive on my hard work
Legend cheers pal. Hope I didn't come across to harsh or rude. Not my intention. Obviously you gotta see it from my side. Every time I work hard on one of these videos so many people just comment. "Which store is this?" And those comments are much fun to reply to as it's not rocket science. You just show up and hope for the best lol. What sort of cars are you into? Are you going to collect premium sets too? Wish you all the very best mate
Yeah, ouch! I also bought one for a fiver from an online retailer for an old video. The cards were pretty beat up. Still left 3 behind as I hope other people who don't care and will rip them open and enjoy the car will find them. Just gotta check 20+ stores 3 times a week like me to be able to find what we're looking for. Happy hunting and wish you good luck. Thanks for being here and thanks for the great support too
Over here in oregon the stores i go to always have fantasy only or some peg warmers, i have managed to find some good 2025 ones but i have to get there early
Hey man, how's it going? Appreciate the great support and thanks for dropping a comment. For real, there are plenty of time that I spend my time visiting a store and they have 3 cars hung up and it's very disappointing. I have to film multiple multiple times over a week or so and then cherry pick the interesting stuff to then edit down into this 20 minute "snap shot" Having a blast making these videos and will continue to grow and try my best to be as original and creative as I can. This channel will never be fake news, staged and premeditated drama or done for the sake of only caring about myself. I'm here to report great finds from putting in the hard work. I want to share with our community that you can find great hot wheels not being sold on eBay. I want to inspire others to do the same. Happy hunting dude! Hope things change for you and you can add some nice pieces into your collection soon
WHAAAT! Haha. Oh man, I absolutely blast through these shops and when I edit these videos do I have a massive fear that guys like you are going to make me wish I could go back in time!!! lol. Oh joking. Dammmm wish I picked that up and it's a treasure hunt too. That's crazy dude. Thanks for literally making my day. I'll head back over and check tomorrow but there's no way it'll still be there. Thanks for being that guy. Super cool you have an eagle eye and I appreciate that you made the effort to drop a comment too. Hope you enjoyed the vid. Did you find anything nice for your collection recently?
@ No problem ! Maybe they’re doing a collection of Impala lowrider THs with the Mexican skull livery ! I am concentrating on Premiums at the moment and was lucky enough to find the complete set of the last Modern Classics in Smyths. Very cool models
Thanks man. That is super lucky! My thumbnail is literally a joke about never finding that pandem skyline. Never move from the area you live in for sure. I'm definitely in a very competitive area as I bump into plenty of hot wheels guys and 100% all of the staff are reselling when they get home after a hard days work of opening boxes in the stockroom lol. Found a super a couple days ago so will make a video about that. Hope you'll be back to watch it. Got lots going on in real life. Working hard and two kids to keep me busy too. Trying my best to post when I can and make a decent video without slacking on quality. Cheers for the the great support
Oh nice that's a really good one too. Like a mainline in disguise as close to the basic version. I'm back to report that FOR REAL I went back to that Lidl today and let's say I showed 300 cars in that segment from this video... well... bro... they had 12 cars in that dump bin and that was it... I'm so sad and I don't think I will ever recover from leaving that TH behind 🤣 I'll have to check prices on eBay now as I really want one in my collection!
I haven't found a treasure hunt in forever and my only hope is the Walmart in Eagan MN. The last time I was there, I was talking with someone, and he told me aa friend of his found 2 (or more) treasure hunts in the dump bins
I hope you can find more of what you're looking for in the future dude. Sometimes I wonder if the scalpers we speak to at the pegs/bins just say that their friends found supers when it's really just them checking the same store 4 times a day 🤣
7:46 You say that like it's a pleasure. 😂 As a Canadian Hot Wheels fan, we get the worst of both worlds. We get international cases with less frequent treasure hunts, we don't get the cool card branding, guaranteed for life, or the association of the blind decals. We have just as many scalpers and obsessive hot wheels fans as the US has, but we get less frequent cases, super old restocks, and pretty much every store is nine pegs and six dump bins. It's absolutely miserable and embarrassing to rifle through dump bins for an hour just to find the car you're looking for with a destroyed card. Absolutely gutting. At least in the UK you guys are getting 2025 restocks. I've checked 30 to 50 stores in the last week and we are still getting n/o/p/q case restocks from 2024. It's like it's better to be a collector anywhere but Canada.
Hahahaha! No man, you're totally right. I do NOT wish that retail spaces start to use dump bins to sell hot wheels. In fact for real those cars were absolutely destroyed just like the skyline I showed in detail. I'm like you man and check very very often and of course you gotta understand that there are so many times I walk up to nothing and it's all just a huge waste of my time. I will visit well over 20 stores multiple times to make these highlight videos. That's all it is. I want to inspire others to see that if you check as often as I do then you eventually find the good stuff and don't have to support the fools on eBay trying to resell a one dollar car for less than 5 bucks... why would people do that and have to deal with picky buyers and posting things out. I'm happy to find what I like, buy what I like and you can see how many hot wheels I leave behind. Never understood how people have all of this unlimited money to buy all the great hot wheels they find. All of the stuff I show at the end goes into my collection and is cared for by me. Wish you good luck on your future adventures my friend. You are lucky to live in beautiful Canada. If you can't find newer stock try visiting places you have never been to before. In my videos I often say that I've never set foot inside somewhere I film and it can have very surprising results. Take it easy man!
@customcollects I'm not trying to have a big woe is me story, I was mostly just complaining about the awful state of the dump bins in Walmart Canada. It's atrocious. A massive gigantic Walmart store will literally have nine pegs that are half empty, and three triple dump bins overflowing with freshly opened boxes. I'm pretty sure the single dump bins hold one case. Sometimes you see them in doubles and triples. Walmart always has triples, and sometimes three to five of them at a time. So yeah it's awesome that there's tons of stock for us to go through, but it's all in terrible shape and it takes way more time than it should. (Checking 72 cars on the pegs takes a minute, checking 72 cars in a dump bin takes 30). When compared to Walmart in the USA, they still have the massive amount of dumper bins, but at least their pegs are restocked with main lines and premiums. They also get the cooler card art and a higher frequency of treasure hunts in cases. I'm a little bit jealous of the hunting you guys do in Europe, it seems a lot more organized and clean, even if there's less stock to go through. The biggest advantage I could see as a Canadian Hot Wheels fan would be the availability of long and short cards. Most big box stores will stock equal amounts of long and short cards. That can also be a negative though, because some people only want to collect one or the other. I know your videos are mostly highlights, compilations, and are taken over the course of a week or longer. On weekends I go to three to five different stores. I check the Big bin stores like Walmart, Superstore, and Canadian Tire. I'm always looking for new places to find hot wheels though. I check local toy stores, Toys r Us, hobby and collectible stores, and smaller retailers like drugstores, grocery stores, and the occasional gas station. I also check every time I stop somewhere for work (lots of gas stations, small grocery stores, hardware stores). Genuinely, there aren't many stores within an hour drive of my house or work that I have not checked multiple times since the beginning of December. It's not like I'm complaining about bad luck either! I found a few treasure hunts at fresh dump bin restocks, a few treasure hunts at the pegs at local toy stores, And I've had the chance to open one untouched crate before from a very kind employee. I'm definitely not accusing you of hoarding or falsely increasing the value of main lines either :) I see how many cool duplicates you leave behind, and the way you organize the pegs and bins when you leave. I'm exactly the same, if I find two golden bumble bees I'm leaving one. If I find two godzillas I'm leaving one. I'll face up the pegs, and put all of the cars in the dump bins layed down nicely on their backs. And yes, I'm very grateful to live in beautiful Canada. I'm 2 hours away from some of the most gorgeous mountains in the world. I recently visited the UK, and outside the urban areas there is a lot of natural beauty to behold there too.
A solution to scalpers is if Mattel release really bad super treasure hunts (fantastic castings). Have more availability for premium castings and more real cars in main line. Ow and more recolours of desirable models.
What do you think about this idea. Getting a super is more like a mail in. If you buy X amount of product then you send away and get a reward. Finding what you're looking for a problem for sure in this hobby and the thing is finding it... it's the thrill of the hunt and that's difficult to replace
That only solves scalping of treasure hunts, and since they're basically intended to be resold at high prices, i.e. scalped, it's not a real issue. The true issue with scalping is bad distribution and profiteering: I don't really care about treasure hunts or series, I just buy what I like, but as this video shows, finding even mainlines of a popular car can be nearly impossible. I had to pay close to £10 to get a mainline red '87 Audi quattro from ebay, I think because there weren't many '24 D cases sent to the UK, so all the cars from that case are scarce, and especially the desirable ones go for high prices on secondary markets. if anything, a smaller selection of more carefully chosen cars, maybe in more colours/designs, would be better. If Mattel made boxes of particular collections, e.g. just the HW Turbo 5 car mini collection or the Fast Foodie 5 car mini collection, shops could gauge sales and control inventory better and there'd be less trouble getting the cars you want. By arranging things so shops can only buy in boxes of 72 very mixed cars at a time, Mattel create FOMO to drive their sales but at the same time manufacture scarcity and drive the scalper economy.
This is all very true and a great explanation of the current climate for sure. People also moan about fantasy cars but also those are literally being bought 15 a minute by just parents and their kids when it's time to "just choose two cars" and they pick anything. Just something that looks cool and colourful. Maybe you're right man. Maybe Mattel likes it this way and supers are meant to live on eBay to create that sense of fomo and to get people crazy about the product and talk about it online... just like this haha. The one true point you made is to not get to caught up in the stress and just collect the cars you want to buy. I'm not even mad if someone wants to buy 3 or 4 of the same car. But I'm not sure I'm okay with the amounts I showed in my introduction 🤣 😐😭😬
I save so much money on fuel and traffic stress thanks to scalpers {they do the leg work giving me time to watch diecast vids} although I would love to find the hammer drop set including the chase wow thanks for vid sir
This is very true! And I've said it before in one of my much older videos that sometimes you find nothing and just take home your own car but with a lot less fuel inside of it lol. Happy to make these videos and share the highlights. You'll be pleased to learn that my next video will be about the super treasure hunt I found 2 days ago! Hooray. I found a nice online deal for the hammer drop set but still picked up extras for the best ones. Happy hunting and thank you infinity for your kindness. Appreciate you
Let's go!! 2025 B cases yeah? You pulled the purple merc STH? Congratz man. Is the card okay enough to keep as a trophy in a protector or are you going to open it?
Hey man. Yes, sometimes I have to ask it depends on the staff, a couple of security guards have approached me as well and I have also been questioned before about why I'm making a video and also one member of the public got slightly mad at me and told me not to film them when I wasn't even trying to. I try my very best to keep to myself and be as respectful and polite as I can be when out in public. You know how life can be when you're out hunting for hot wheels. Hope you're good man. Did you enjoy the video?
@customcollects i did yes.my poundland seemed to get 2025 hotwheels before our nearest entertainer did.im hoping that Aldi get hotwheels all year round again even if just two cases, they were pretty good cases i thought.Keep well.
I wish you good luck and hope you can find more of the hot wheels you are looking for in the future. Perhaps Mattel wants super treasure hunts to be scalped and sold on eBay because it makes their product appear to be very valuable and creates demand and desirability?
Appreciate you brother. Thank you for taking the time to drop and comment. Hope you have been finding some nice pieces for your collection too. Happy hunting!
As a collector who now makes more hunting videos I can confirm that checking 20+ stores about 3 times a week is what I takes to be able to make these highlight videos. Keep on the good hunt and try switching up when you check. Turning up when doors open first thing isn't always the best approach. Hope you can find more of what you're looking for in 2025 dude. Thanks for the comment and support
Scalpers, we all hate them, they even hate each other, but we must admit, they're part of everything surrounding Hot Wheels collecting! Cool video, stay safe and happy collecting!
Oh man! Jon, I actually laughed so hard out loud when I read "they even hate each other" ...that's a classic! I won't be forgetting that anytime soon. lol. How are you brother? Scored myself super treasure hunt number 2 for my collection 2 or 3 days ago. Show you in my next upload 👍 as you know better than anyone. Not enough hours in the day to make all these video ideas we have. I wouldn't be quick enough even if 2 other people were helping me. Lots of work when you just do it all by yourself. Spoke to the company that have my modern classics pre order and they are confident it'll ship this week of next. Let's see what the universe gives me 👍 How about you my friend? Any nice new hot wheels found out in the wild for your collection?
Forrrrr reaalllllll :((((( also. Let's not forget the veteran old skool collectors and all the parents buying 2 random cars for their kids that could be good ones are also checking the hot wheels too just to make it even harder for us lol
2:52 if you’re going to take the Porsche, you should definitely take a whole set. Otherwise no one will ever be able to complete a set because they won’t restock until the rest of them are gone.
That particular store sells out of the majority of Hot Wheels pretty much daily. I hunt a lot and never see very much sitting around for long. I'm going to buy a full box on Amazon Japan for sure. I want to eventually have a full set opened and sealed for Neon Speeders 4. Had to grab that Porsche and I can buy the rest much more easily over time. How are you man? Found anything nice for your collection recently?
Entertainer is really really off right now man. That restock I caught was lucky. Been in 4 entertainers this week and they are all stuck on trash leftovers from 2024 Q case pretty much. Hope that things will change in a couple of week! Hit me up with a message when yours catch a fresh restock. Keep checking often as you can. Gotta hit some nice pieces eventually 👍
Hey man, how's it going? Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment all the same. I understand what you're saying but for real that's not going on here bro. I'm keen to keep it real on my channel. I truly do not understand how people have all of this unlimited money to buy all of the hot wheels that they find to sell for slightly more on eBay. I've got two kids to keep me busy. I really don't have any time to make these videos and run an eBay shop. My work and responsibilities in life are more important so I can pay my mortgage and support my family. I've only made a few RUclips videos and I'm having fun with it. Take a look at all my content. You can see I'm opening cars and devaluing them left, right and center lol. Lots of people would say to ignore comments like yours but I'm here to say you got me all bro. Hope you can see I'm just a random dude who enjoys collecting hot wheels and making videos about them in my free time. Wish you a great day man
Oh nice. I like your style. And employees can't always have time to check the hot wheels and if you're out hunting as much as me eventually you gonna hit a nice restock and find a super!
@customcollects a scalper is a collectionist who take all the good stuff....if your find 3 STH Silverados and you take 1 that means you are a COLLECTIONIST but if you take more than that, that makes you a SCALPER 😎
I like your style my friend. A realist through and through. All of the hot wheels deserve to be in your collection and it's great to know you care. Keep growing your army! 🚗 🔥
Nice one, thank you! Appreciate the great support. Always trying my best to find the time to make a video and hopefully go out hunting enough to eventually find a super treasure hunt. Happy hunting and keep building your awesome collection
Perfect! That is completely the reason I love to do this. I want to inspire other collectors to never lose hope. The more you hunt. The more you find 👍 appreciate you brother. Thank you
Lol! Amazing. My girlfriend would think I was crazy if I wrapped up a toy car with valentines and gave it to her so I'm just trying to save some of the younger collectors from a traumatic event perhaps 👍 🤣 It's hard enough buying these hot wheels as an adult without having to feel bad about it. Legendary comment! And thanks for being here
@@customcollects Oh boy, I can imagine some 15-year-old thinking that because they like hot wheels, it would be a cute idea to gift their girl/boy friend The Valentine's car. Flowers are a little bit more expensive, but I think you're better off with those ;)
Bro this makes sense now as I found a super a couple of days ago for the first time in one of these smaller display boxes. Have you found a super in these boxes too?? I'm so surprised the double non supers wouldn't have one as the super but I think you're right. It's the car that's only seeded once!? Very interesting
When you eventually find out who the person is buying up all the hot wheels to sell on eBay for 2 dollars more you quickly realise it's a type of person for sure... keep on the good hunt man. Just keep ripping open your cars like me and just laugh when someone cares about devaluing a dollar car. Haha! Craziness out here bro
It's understandable for sure. Actually putting on your boots and hitting stores to hunt down pieces for your collection is a whole bunch of fun man and making these highlight videos of my findings is such a good time as well. I don't like or collect Pokemon cards but the TCG guys are suffering the same as us because people make reselling content and push collecting on the side of investing. If people just ripped open cars and devalued them and put them on display like I do there wouldn't be a huge problem and I wouldn't make videos like this. Just like most things it all boils down to money. But what can we do??
@@derrick3294 haha! No worries man really appreciate you dropping a reply. I always try my best to present my content in a manner that I hope others will acknowledge as good etiquette. Happy hunting! Hope you find some nice pieces for your collection
Hey man. How's it going? I have a super treasure hunt video on my channel. I found one out in the wild. My channel will never be a lie, fake or staged content just for likes. I just report the cold hard truth. Perhaps there will be another super treasure hunt video on my channel... let's see 👀
Check out this awesome light up display. Very cool! Thanks for watching s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_oDhCgxx
Yay! You finally posted!! Love your vids
Hey man, thanks for the great support. Had a small break over Christmas and also January is full of birthdays in my family. How are you? Found anything juicy for your collection? Hope you enjoy the vid!
@@customcollects that’s good to hear! Haven’t found anything lately but it’s ok!
You will eventually. The more you hunt the more chances you have to find something epic! 🚗 🔥
Great video as always. Again I love your enthusiasm. You are still the only hunter I follow because you are real.
I always hate the scalpers, they just leave the collectors with nothing and eBay ones are just overpriced, great hunting!
My best are probably the Cupra, Bumblebee transformers and the McLaren P1
The most I want is any THs
You’ll never beat the scalpers. I’ve had boxes brought out of the stores in shops and employees had already been through them and took the good stuff.
Check out my last video. You better believe that Smyths Toys and the Entertianer toy shop both check stock before putting out the scraps for collectors like us... also... maybe you will be interested to learn that I might have a 2nd super treasure hunt video coming soon! 🔥
@@customcollectsHad it happen in the places you mentioned and also B&M and Tesco.
@@customcollects I’ve put them both in my Perspex model display with my 1:24 model kits. Keeps dust and my kids fingers off them. 😂
Haha.
Thanks man
we need to see a room where you put these cars someday
Oh man!
In my area the workers who stock the HotWheels are collectors themselves and take all the good stuff when shipments come in 🤦🏻♂️.
Employees must just buy a full box of 10 and take it home to list on eBay (sad life)
Did you ever see the silver Mercedes hung up in store because then you're doing better than me LOL
@ both, I live between Irish city, and north Irish city, so I check both. I’ve never seen any modern classic model in shops, but I know by website, that they were there. So workers or their friends just took everything.
Just had a message from the online store that is sending me my modern classics sealed case. I will make an unboxing video and show you!
Would have been nice if you at least commented something positive on my hard work
@ cheers mate. Apologies. Didn’t mean to come across negative. Love the stuff. Keep the videos coming 🫡🫡🫡🫡
Wow those Silvia Liberty Walk finds in Lidl is a score! I just paid £7 for one!
I have to film multiple multiple times over a week or so and then cherry pick the interesting stuff to then edit down into this 20 minute "snap shot"
Having a blast making these videos and will continue to grow and try my best to be as original and creative as I can.
Awesomeness 😊
Legend! Thank you brother. Appreciate your great support and kindness.
Happy hunting and collecting. Keep building your awesome collection
The Chevy Impala TH you found in Lidl is different. It’s a’58 model and the recent Impala TH is a ‘59. I should know as I have both 🙂
WHAAAT!
@customcollects Good luck with it all mate. Lucky to pick up a STH. I haven't found one since the blue Porsche 935.
Oh nice that's a really good one too. Like a mainline in disguise as close to the basic version.
I'm back to report that FOR REAL I went back to that Lidl today and let's say I showed 300 cars in that segment from this video... well... bro... they had 12 cars in that dump bin and that was it... I'm so sad and I don't think I will ever recover from leaving that TH behind 🤣
I'll have to check prices on eBay now as I really want one in my collection!
I haven't found a treasure hunt in forever and my only hope is the Walmart in Eagan MN. The last time I was there, I was talking with someone, and he told me aa friend of his found 2 (or more) treasure hunts in the dump bins
The big dump bin isn't that deep at all, but I was able to find the Dark Horse Mustang in there
I hope you can find more of what you're looking for in the future dude. Sometimes I wonder if the scalpers we speak to at the pegs/bins just say that their friends found supers when it's really just them checking the same store 4 times a day 🤣
Love the dark horse mustang. Paint looks amazing!!
7:46 You say that like it's a pleasure. 😂
As a Canadian Hot Wheels fan, we get the worst of both worlds.
(sorry for the long message, but I appreciate your detailed reply) 👍
Appreciate you
ordered 2 cases of B and both my TH came with the worst cards of the case! luckily found a STH in that box so its fine
Let's go!! 2025 B cases yeah? You pulled the purple merc STH? Congratz man. Is the card okay enough to keep as a trophy in a protector or are you going to open it?
When you go into each respective shop,do you have to ask if you can video? I would like to do so myself.
19:11 I saw the Blue Daytona Coupe at Walmart when I was there I just didn't pick it up
That's a good one! I'm sure you'll bump into another one soon. Check to make sure the tampos are looking fresh when you buy yours to open 🫡
Because of scalpers, i never find sth, only few regulars in past 6 months. Some people only take sth's to sell them.
I wish you good luck and hope you can find more of the hot wheels you are looking for in the future.
Perhaps Mattel wants super treasure hunts to be scalped and sold on eBay because it makes their product appear to be very valuable and creates demand and desirability?
I only need the 2 treasure hunts you got LOL
Keep on the good hunt man, the more you check the more chances you have of finding what you're looking for! Wish you great luck for 2025!!
@@customcollects yep, you too
@Jollyshep-u7o need to get out some more this week and then I can start making my next video... I found something super special a few days ago 👀
Cool, can not wait! Good luck
Nice finds!
Appreciate you brother. Thank you for taking the time to drop and comment. Hope you have been finding some nice pieces for your collection too. Happy hunting!
Haven’t found much since the holidays, my area in a dry spell waiting on C case. I did find a cool new Matchbox today 👍
Yeah for real. Feels the same here too. I went out today and didn't buy a single thing.
Looking forward to a nice restock soon for sure
As a collector I can confirm I can’t find anything
Let's see what the universe gives me 👍
How about you my friend? Any nice new hot wheels found out in the wild for your collection?
Scalper is always scalper … 😂😂😂
Found anything nice for your collection recently?
my entertainers are trash! only have 3 nicely packed cases (scalper was there)
Entertainer is really really off right now man.
🤣😂🤣 the people that usually call people "scalpers" lowkey do the same just with the cameras off.
Wish you a great day man
The Truth is 😎GOOD LUCK SCALPERS VS BAD LUCK SCALPERS😜
@customcollects Everyone is a SCALPER but the BAD LUCK SCALPERS is the ones are always whining and complaining 🤣
I like your style my friend. A realist through and through. All of the hot wheels deserve to be in your collection and it's great to know you care.
Keep growing your army! 🚗 🔥
more vids like this!
Nice one, thank you! Appreciate the great support. Always trying my best to find the time to make a video and hopefully go out hunting enough to eventually find a super treasure hunt.
Happy hunting and keep building your awesome collection
@@customcollects I really love your enthusiasm when hunting. makes me want to go to the store after watching your vids :)
Perfect! That is completely the reason I love to do this. I want to inspire other collectors to never lose hope. The more you hunt. The more you find 👍 appreciate you brother. Thank you
I actually beat them accidentally to get godzilla matte grey r33
Congratz! Let's go! Did you ever find the white version??
@@customcollects na i only go hunting once a month and i dont get lucky very often
found my 2nd sth a day after my first
Yesssss!!! Mate, remind me which one you found first? Which store? I also found my second STH very recently 👀 🏆 🚗 🔥
@@customcollects first in sainsburys 2nd in aldi
Very very lucky! Happy you have them in your collection. Better than them being on eBay and not enjoyed properly
11:39 sounds like a traumatic experience 😂
Lol!
Flowers are a little bit more expensive, but I think you're better off with those ;)
🤘🏻
Thanks man. Hope you have been adding some nice pieces into your collection too 🙏🏆
Its the nissan not the pontiac 3:50
Bro this makes sense now as I found a super a couple of days ago for the first time in one of these smaller display boxes.
Have you found a super in these boxes too??
I'm so surprised the double non supers wouldn't have one as the super but I think you're right. It's the car that's only seeded once!? Very interesting
@ I have never pulled a super ever lol
You will mate. It's coming for you. The more you hunt... the more chances you have 💪 🔥
Max i will ever pay for a hotwheels is the mainline price. Scalpers are pathetic.
This is why I stop buy hotwheels premium and move buy miniscale like pop race and minigt or inno64.
Hot wheels Mactbox welly vakantie toychamp donderdag apeldoorn ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😁😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Great to have you here! Hope you enjoy this one. Happy collecting ♥️
Damn is 😂🎉
No thanks for being a real hunter
What do you mean? 😮
@customcollects sorry I said wrong thing I meant thanks for being a true caring hunter
@@derrick3294 haha! No worries man really appreciate you dropping a reply. I always try my best to present my content in a manner that I hope others will acknowledge as good etiquette. Happy hunting! Hope you find some nice pieces for your collection
its a shame that americans always find a sth
Hey man. How's it going? I have a super treasure hunt video on my channel. I found one out in the wild. My channel will never be a lie, fake or staged content just for likes. I just report the cold hard truth. Perhaps there will be another super treasure hunt video on my channel... let's see 👀
@customcollects hope you find ur ultra ths that you allways wanted :)
Same to you my dude! :D
