Jeez man, I put this song on while I got into the shower. And A Great Stirring's ending is so powerful, I jumped out of the shower and walked across the bathroom completely soaked so I can figure out what song it was 😂
"It's the Gahanka, the troll war beat. They say that within 5 minutes of hearing it, you're dead" -Thud!, Terry Pratchett (the quote might not be verbatim, first person to get on my case for it is geting eaten by trolls)
Thanks for the upload, DSA! Here are the album's "Lyrics": A Great Stirring And so begins the pounding of drums. Leathern skins dance and ring, calling to life that dread chorus of the Deep Places of the world - for the ringing of unfathomable trumpets to shake the land once more. A Hunger to Carry Off Flocks Bottomless, wild-eyed, yellow-toothed, gaunt. A hunger to gnaw down the roots of mountains and drink up the seas, to carry off each beast of the land and gnash its teeth at that carefree sky lying so boldly beyond reach. Root and stone and tooth and bone: all cry out at the insatiable dust in their bellies. And so hunger without cease lopes through dark hills and dwindling twilight, shepherd's finest in the crook of each arm. Just Stones Beneath the Bridge Warhorn calls hang on the mist like cloying geists, taunting us to move on should we dare. Should we deem it possible to face what lies beyond the river. The bridge is narrow, the way is dark, and just beyond the Deepwoods loom - grim and leering. Men and horses alike balk at some unseen foulness therein... but surely those are just stones beneath the bridge? Peikon Luola Kaarnan kansa suon suojassa Sammalen syömä, sulkavan surma Viherkiven väki, hallan halkeamat Soinnut suloiset, saloilla soivat Vaan luolassa peikon kaikuu kivi, hönkii harmaja henki, koloissa kumajavissa Keltahammas, kelojen kantaja, juurien jäytäjä, likainen lanko Syvämetsän syventäjä, sävelten syöjä Luuhuilut laulaa luolassa peikon What Broods Under Deepening Cloudmurk Lo, I hear its breathing Though I see not where it lies As stony weight of darkness Descends upon my eyes Stumble in root, in bramble in briar As the Deepwoods' chorus chants I tumble in thorn and fœtid mire As the Deepwoods' terrors advance Moss Laden & Shambling I spied it across the clearing, and I thought it not alive 'til the creaking roots and tumbling vines sent shivers down my spine Gristle & Bone, All Turned to Stone Lichens cling and mosses encloak the great stones betwixt the pines. this is utterly beautiful, i would love to know what is suposed to be the name of the trumpet-like that sounds in most of the tracks it has a bit of arabic style.
*_A bit too much beats, rhythm, puls and excitement for Fantasy novel reading, it's a bit busy. I thought I had set the video to x1.25 or x1.5 speed, but no. It is not bad, that's not what I am saying, it really fits a Fantasy isometric game or something like that. Just not reading._*
Imagine the snot rockets you could shoot out of a nose like that
Safety meeting with the homies in the deepwood, can’t ask for better vibes.
Spot on!
Keep uploading folks, this channel sustains me.

Elyvilon, no doubt it's great again.
Whoah this caught me off guard! Extremely well composed, and very rhythmic, which I love in dungeon synth. 👍👍💪💀🗡️

A Great Stirring
And so begins the pounding of drums. Leathern skins dance and ring, calling to life that dread chorus of the Deep Places of the world - for the ringing of unfathomable trumpets to shake the land once more.
A Hunger to Carry Off Flocks
Bottomless, wild-eyed, yellow-toothed, gaunt. A hunger to gnaw down the roots of mountains and drink up the seas, to carry off each beast of the land and gnash its teeth at that carefree sky lying so boldly beyond reach. Peikon Luola
Kaarnan kansa suon suojassa
Sammalen syömä, sulkavan surma
Viherkiven väki, hallan halkeamat
Soinnut suloiset, saloilla soivat
Vaan luolassa peikon
kaikuu kivi, hönkii harmaja henki,
koloissa kumajavissa
Keltahammas, kelojen kantaja,
juurien jäytäjä, likainen lanko
Syvämetsän syventäjä,
sävelten syöjä
Luuhuilut laulaa
luolassa peikon
What Broods Under Deepening Cloudmurk
Lo, I hear its breathing
Though I see not where it lies
As stony weight of darkness
Descends upon my eyes
Stumble in root, in bramble in briar
As the Deepwoods' chorus chants
I tumble in thorn and fœtid mire
As the Deepwoods' terrors advance
Moss Laden & Shambling
I spied it across the clearing, and I thought it not alive
'til the creaking roots and tumbling vines sent shivers down my spine
Gristle & Bone, All Turned to Stone
Lichens cling and mosses encloak the great stones betwixt the pines. Their granite slopes soar to rest 'neath the sighing needles, their stalwart bases crowd the roots below. Tumbled cromlechs sprawling, a manadnock of crumbling forms. Clamb'ring o'er crags and crooks, ferny clods break free. Hi, do you know is the band Finnish because some of the lyrics are written in finnish
And Peikon luola means Troll's cave
@@ikebroflovski4232 I wrote the album. I’m American, but it is dedicated as an album to my Finnish heritage.
@@TMFeilla Oh, cool to hear that!
Unbelievable
You can feel this album calling to something hidden in your mind and soul!
We're all dwarves, every last one of us
I think I've been making Dungeon Synth without even realizing it. So happy to find a category for this type of music!
Excellent.
I feel like saying, masterworks all...
Trolls came out of the forest and recorded this. Great stuff!
unmatched in its vibes. a true bop, thank you guys
This is EXCELLENT! Able to stand out amongst the crowd, with a spot on production. Great work Elyvilon!
i liked all the tracks, but the track 7 is just my favorite, this track got me.
wow! amazing
The cover makes me think of Leshy's family.
That guy from Inscription.
A Hunger to Carry Off Flocks is fairly exciting for a dungeon synth song, I like this style of speed.
Wow, this is really good! A truly atmospheric album.
man i love this album
Tanks man, this album is so awesome while I’m just cracking out and set up Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion, right on.
magnific
Great album! Tracks 2 & 3 are definitely the standouts IMO.
THIS GOES HARD
Шикарно потанцевала
Great one to wake up to, loving the drums!
this music is free and far from the dungeon. listening to this while sitting in a dungeon will help hatch a scheme for you to escape into the forest.
Как будто сам гномом стал! 🤗
Только на картинке тролли. Сначала сам думал, что это гномы.
Damn good album. Nicely done, Elyvilon!
Amazing!!!!
Such an outstanding unique album!
Wow this is great, there's some good shit that comes from US of A.
Absolutely an extra nice album!
Welcome to the top of my lifting soundtrack. Amazing work here mate, is there a bit of Ian Taylor I detect in some of it?
this is utterly beautiful, i would love to know what is suposed to be the name of the trumpet-like that sounds in most of the tracks it has a bit of arabic style.
YAAAAAS I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THISSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
Trollcore
А может, просто гномом стать? !
Good album to play Binding of issac
Anyone else getting Hexen II vibes from at least the opening tunes?
Torille :D
Any sleepsynth up online? Something you can put on and sleep for 8 hours or so.
Re-up? Has it been remixed in any way? Regardless, good album!
No remix or anything, this is the first time it was uploaded to DSA. The album was previously uploaded to the “In The Woods” channel, however.
@@ElyvilonDS Aaah, okay, that must've been where I heard it. Thank you!
Urban Wodewose vibes
please elaborate, any (personal) encounter stories?? 🙂
Is this Dwarfwave?
who made the album cover?
It was made by David Thiérée!

What would you recommend to listen to instead?
Nimueh's Gift is one of my favourite albums, thanks to Elyvilon. But this is just not good enough, a little boring album. IMHO.
