Zoe, Ace, and Rio are all from the Gamecube game! I've had the former 2 in my town, and I always wanted Rio but never got her :( Also, Faith is from the GC one too, but she was only in the island mode which I was never able to do
I do get the feeling there will be some small QoL changes like this they didn't cover in the trailer. They've done that kind of thing before so it's not unheard of. My big hopes would be buying/crafting multiple fish baits and bulk buying nook miles tickets T_T
No being able to bulk-generate NMTs or bulk-craft items yet. Over all though, I dug it. Lots to keep me entertained at a time when my interest is starting to wane a bit.
My boyfriend and I are probably gonna buy the amiibos from a reseller 😭 that’ll be our only chance at getting those amiibos anyway! I need Judy and Sherb I’m on the hunt for them 💗 plus Mario and Sasha the new villagers are so adorable I might need to kick out some villagers
Overall I’m not thrilled. No Gracie Hundreds of NL items seemingly left out Kapp’n but 0 mini games. Why? I think Nintendo is competent enough to add mini games, but why are they so lazy. 90% of all “updates” have just been from New Leaf. Features that were they Day One.
There's loads of stuff that will be added that isn't in this direct that we will find out by ourselves, and there's still more they will be adding, be patient about it
@@StarrieMoonlight they said this will be the last free update. There will be no more free updates. If they actually make paid expansions just to access content that was in New Leaf day 1, a $40 game, then that is beyond scummy and absolutely pathetic

I think they could definitely make a second paid dlc to fill in the last few gaps in the game (tortimers island, gracie, copper and booker etc.
Last free "major" update. It does not necessarily mean we won't get free minor updates anymore, like new seasonal items and such.

bro. we literally got 50 new things in the game and basically a whole new game as a DLC. be happy for once.
