Since Bumblebee came out I changed my mind a bit on how the movies should be rebooted. First of all, if the reboot comes out, my idea for a title will be Transformers: A New Generation. Now I want to get into the problems with rebooting. 1. Bayformers still exist. 2. Bayformers actually HELPED revived the franchise. Without Bayformers the trend of G1 designs wouldnt happen. The G1 trend happened because of the popularity of the movies and Bayformers are in fact INSPIRED by G1. Early concept art of the 2007 movie has a reference photo of the cartoon along side the artist's design which looks similar. They decided to go with something different instead because its the FIRST movie of Transformers in live-action. Its also pretty obvious because Peter Cullen returned. What Im trying to get at is that Bayformers made a new generation of Transformers fans. When think about it that's pretty epic. When there is a young person saying they like the movies, you should respect their opinion and thank the people at Paramount because they brought back life to a dying franchise in the 2000's. Without the films we wouldnt complain about the films not being G1. Obviously the reboot should respect what Michael Bay contributed because it inspired shows and movies like Transformers Prime and BUMBLEBEE. So what I want the reboot to do is to gather positive aspects of the Michael Bay movies design wise, aesthetic wise, character wise and have the plot of the film be a subtle criticism of them. I also really want the rebooted movies to introduce ORIGINAL characters and RARE characters that allude to their origins. We dont have to focus so much on Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. I also want the movies to exceed expectations. What I mean by that is to twist what the Transformers franchise is about. Creating a unique conflict that subverts the traditional cliches in the Transformers lore. And in doing so attract general audiences along with old school fans, fitting the name A New Generation.
Well the main thing is that we need NOMORE ANNOYING HUMANS. I would rather the movies take place in space but i know that not every director has the budget for an all cgi movie. Let's say you do make it in space. The only things i want to see is 1: good character development 2: treat characters with respect ( by that i mean like dont just kill off characters and then completely forget about them, or like the decepticons in the movies) 3: have a wide range of locations ( from cybertrons moons to jungle planet ect) 4: dont just have G1 characters, have all sorts of characters from different lores and tv shows 5: GOOD PLOT!!!!!!
Brandon Gutierrez It's nearly impossible to have anything Transformers without human involvement on earth, but my humans will not lead the movie, they are secondary and I plan to visit earth for about two, maybe 3 movies and then leaving it and the humans behind
For the Transformers movies I just want to see good movies. I don't want to see a whole ton of pandering, but I just want to see good stories within themselves. Because really, if the movies are just going to be fan service with no story at all, then they suck. I don't mind seeing the original designs for the Transformers but more upgraded/dated. But I want some other designs to be changed. Arcee, Unicron, Motormaster, and Bumblebee. Those are the most awkward designs that I want changed in a movie. I actually want Starscream to be the antagonist instead of Megatron.(I am just sick of Megatron at this point.) And have a good self contained story that actually fits with the spirit of the Transformers universe. Also if you are DYING to make homages, do clever ones like Star trek beyond, or make tiny nuggets to G-1 and other continuities. At least what St beyond did right was having the homage to the original crew serve a PURPOSE to the story and moral. Also the " You Got the Touch" homage in your movie should be the Autobots' favorite song. They should play it a couple of times to entertain themselves and when the homage to the 1986 movie comes, they should use the song as noise to destroy a huge antagonist in the film. That's all I have to say. Love, Fanboy.
You should take Inspiration from the Movies, Video Games and TV shows(MovieVerse and Aligned.) The feel of the movie would be like TFP, so not too dark but not too lighthearted and kid friendly.
How about a storyline that combines elements from the Aligned Cybertron-based lore, the G1 cartoon, the G1 comics, and the IDW storyline? It'd be cool to see a TF movie that takes place in '84, and have true-to-G1 alt-forms for characters, like Masterpiece Transformer figures come to life. But yeah, that's my input :)
I would like to see a a autobot that is a train. Specifically under the CSX road name, but you would need an OK from CSX for that. I would also specifically want it to be a SD-40-2, as that is the most popular CSX engine.
I would like to see (if sequels were possible) optimus prime kill the fallen ,then the fallens spark corrupts the matrix inside prime. Optimus then turns into some sort of nemesis prime? Also to add a couple GI Joe easter eggs?
Have Easter Eggs, and nods to show that there is a grand universe and multiverse. Have humans be like Spike, Chip, & Sparkplug from G1 they're there but they aren't the stars of the show. Combiners that don't suck ( Coughs ''ROTF Devastator'')
GoodenoughPictures Have you read the FunPub's comics? They have a story arc since 2012 where the Classics(Alt. G1 ) universe was destroyed, then there was SG Beast Wars, and know what I call Transformers Shattered Glass: The Movie
GoodenoughPictures On the TFCC site they have a few issues, and one is online and free. They have arching stories with the club comics. They have 1 at Botcon and a 6-part usually comic in the club magazine
I'd be interested in seeing Superion and the Dinobots to counter menasour and Devastator. I also would be interested in seeing more G1 and TF prime inspired designs, and something that pretty much goes back to the roots of Transformers to a degree. Furthermore, I thought that TF prime Soundwave was cool. my only issue with him was that he only had one line in the series, so maybe borrow that version of Soundwave, and make it so he talks? Overall, good luck on your TF movie, and I hope that if they re-start the TF movies that you get the job. :)
I have made slideshows of characters and vehicles I would use for a movie myself. I suggest keeping it close to g1 characters, with some adjustments.Just an idea. Love your account
Here are some of my ideas, the Transformers should be the main point of the film. It's ok to add a couple humans but they should be supporting characters. Also if it has dark tone, less humor would be a good idea. Plus, the humor in the Transformer movies seem kinda forced. So those are just my ideas :) Also, is the movie you're making a fan film or are you working up to become a director and make a full feature film.
First of All, it should be all about Unicron. He is the Thanos of the Transformers Universe. There should be more than one Groups of Transformers like..Team Optimus on Earth, Team Rodimus on a Random Planet (Maybe Beastwars) and Team Ultra magnus on Cybertron. Every Transformer should have a reason and a name to be involved in the Story and they should talk. That means, that they have a plan of what they do. The only human character should be kid...no teenager, no dad or anything just a kid maybe 12 years old. And this kid is NOT a Hero. There is no focus in him, he is just the one who discovers the autobots. The Dinobots should be built. I would prefer to start with Transformers (on earth). A quick introduction into the transformers, then the villain (lockdown/motormaster) and a fight. After that there should be a Standalone Optimus prime: Origins movie of how he became a prime, first meeting with megatron and the begin of the Autobots/Decepticons war. After that Transformers 2: Megatron, he comes to earth with his team (Starscream, Soundwave etc.)They come to earth, fight and decepticons take over earth, Ratchet and Wheeljack create Dinobots to save earth. Then there should be a Team Rodimus movie, on the Beast Wars planet, with Predacons etc. Afters that a Crossover with G.I joe, where the G.I Joe first got Attacked by Nemesis Prime, G.i Joe wanna kill Optimus for that, they fight, realise it was nemesis prime and team up to go against him. Then there Should be a Primus:Origins where they explain all the origins of the Creators (forgot their name), brotherhood and Creation of transformers with Unicron and the Fight between both, while Primus creates the Primes. At the end there should be Transformers 3 Part 1, where Team Optimus, G.I joe, Team ultra magnus,Team Rodimus team up and the Decepticons win with the Power of Unicron(Megatron to Galvatron). In part2 they finally defeat the Decepticons, Megatron calls Unicron, Unicron comes, Optimus, Ultra Magnus, Rodimus and Grimlock who got Power of Primus by some Artefacts (AllSpark, Matrix etc.) Defeat Unicron save earth and go back to Cybertron.
Nazar Mashraqi You and I have a lot of the same plot points; multiple planets and teams, Primus and Unicron, showing the Autobot and Decepticon origins and although I have never been a GI Joe fan, a government agency creating Transformers has always been something I've found interesting
GoodenoughPictures Yea, the G.I joe ist just there to take over the place of Nest, but have a much bigger backstory...oh and i forgot the G.I Joe Movie should be between Transformers 1 and 2
I want to be a filmmaker and make my own transformers franchise too
Get inspiration from this, 2 words : Transformers Prime

1st movie arrival to earth

3rd movie unicron war
Same here
My dream in a Transformers franchise is Megatron and Optimus being friends at the end!
IDW(g1) Drift and G1 Jazz
I always would love to see them team up as a spin off or main Part of the cast...
Aveex Toa of Fire I've got both of them included. And I'm doing the original Drift, not some knockoff Michael Bay version

Have a small cast

***** I'm studying to become a legitimate filmmaker. I want to make these professionally and i fully agree on all of your points
Nope :1 transformers
:2 dawn of war
:3 edge of extinction
+KevinGame3 Those are some bad ass movie titles!
beast wars
Anything unicron
make sideswipe, ironside, and sun streaker demolish bruticis with sideswipe ripping apart vortex and blast off
