00:00 - 02:38 r&b/soul beat
02:39 - 05:24 trap beat Видеоклипы
That ending line,"nothing in this world is perfect so why should your beats be..." is a fxckin bar. 💯💯
Yessir thanks man!
bro the beat u cooked at the end fr was hard man damnnn
Thank u bro!
0:32 for anyone wondering, when you shift the 2nd note of the 5th chord of the minor scale up a half step, it changes it from a min7 chord to a dominant7 chord. that gives it that pull back to the 1 chord. this is super useful and happens everywhere in music.
you can also do this with most other chords in the scale, just pick a note, build a 5th up from it and make a dominant7 chord there, and go to that note afterwards. also add the 2nd chord of the scale before the 5th if you want to make it jazzy. (aka 2-5-1. happens all the time)
my music won’t disappoint you trust me
Thanks for explaining, basically just shifting the minor 3rd to major 3rd. When he said the 2nd note, it confused me.
Montes been my favoraite producer for years im glad your shining some light on him
Yessir he’s so crazy
love seeing more ppl do videos on Monte booker
Yessir
Dude this video is so inspiring it makes the creative process feel so easy.
Love to hear that!
Monte booker been had the sauce since that 3x osc video

Appreciate your tutorials always very informative 👏
Thank u for watching bro!
I never heard of most these producers you make videos about but these types of videos are great follow alongs to understand product and theory.
Thanks bro!
excellent analysis. monte the goat, gonna use all of this moving forward
Thanks man!
Non other producer inspires more than him .
Check out felly mariposa. Supper cool shiz
Yup such unique production!
Not main stream, but definitely unique, check Tutara Peak.
I'd say his strongest note is sound selection, making them insanely cohesive.
a man by the name of Pierre Bourne. not talked about enough for literally shaping how modern rap sounds.
I swear bro
Bro you turtorials are great and your beatz are always lit.
Appreciate you
Loner you always go crazy

Thank u bro!!
dope video, appreciate the breakdown! definetley cool technique, might try it myself
Thank u bro!
I took to heart "Nothing in this world is perfect, so why should your beats be" So i changed my time signature to 3/4 but ignored it and did 4/4 anyways regardless of overlapping and swapped the purpose of my kicks and snares.
LUV U BRO
I love u guys fr 🙏🏻
Bro you are truly inspiring. I be taking notes and applying these steps In Reason12. In my opinion I use reason because it reminds me of a old analog studio and you can hook up and route cv cables in the back. There Synths are top tier
Thank u so much bro!!
you are an amazing producer man
Love ur content ❤
Appreciate that!

🙏🏻🙏🏻
His production feels so human
Facts!!
We got another Monte here
LOVE MONTE
Yesssir
Gotta say though on that Mona Lisa track ya cant give all the credit to Monte because Naji is equally an absolute beast of a producer! That collab was fantastic.
one of the main things monte does with drums is just turn of the grid snapping so even when he clicks it in it's not perfect
"one of the main things a drummer does is play the drums"...ok your point is...? i get the vibe that internet producers forget that instruments exist. manual drumming/nonquantization/swing isn't a "technique" or a "production style" .... It's pretty sad that people praise eachother for swinging their drums; and it's sad people need to watch or make a tutorial about swinging their drums. that's just how it should/could be done
no other producer can replace his sound💗 thankyou loner for inspring his sound❤🔥
Thank u bro!
Whats the first preset youre using in Sky keys? When I go the "about time" preset the wave form doesn't look like that at all. Thanks.
Upload the second beat please 🙏
my music won’t disappoint you trust me
Crazy how you can clearly see how much hes influenced by J Dilla
What drumpack did you use for the trap beat?
Hey! I’m asking you this question because I really admire your production. I’ve never bought a VST synth library before, and I finally saved enough money. Should I buy omnisphere?
I think omnisphere is good but it’s a little bit outdated. I’d say analog lab/the v collection is a better choice
@@prodbyloner thanks man. Great to see a producer who talks to his audience
Hey man, Hope all is well. I got a quick question. I see you using that S.K.Y. Keys plugin at 0:14 . I checked out the video on they're site and it looks pretty cool. Just wondering the about quality and if you'd recommend it? Thanks, and dope work on the channel. Peace!
Thanks for watching man! It’s a great plugin! Very easy to load up & find a useable sound straight away. Would recommend if u need something to keep ur workflow quick
Good to know! Thanks @@prodbyloner
Monte booker lays his drums as audio
Its just a preference thing, anything on the playlist in fl is affected by the master mix. So there’s no difference in placing your drums in the playlist or loading them into the channel rack and placing them in the piano roll
make a video about lophiile production
How does one hire you to produce them a beat as an artist?
yo whats that bass
is the kick from a kit from you?
it takes a genius to break down another genius's work 🏆 #YoungLoner 🐐
Thank u so much for always supporting man !
@@prodbyloner you have no idea what you did for me. You made me realize that the sounds that I was looking for are actually attainable. not the same old generic sounds that you hear from typical vsts.. layers Vol 1&2 changed my ear for sound selection immensely. I will always support. God bless fam 🙏
need that 808
my music won’t disappoint you trust me
Y’all never heard of J Dilla or Madlib if y’all say this dude is the most inspiring producer 💀
They are still young lmao
Madlib is too unique - creative - esoteric - for this generation of producers
To them, it is him because he's their generation of producer.
what about ayowitty
J Dilla is the real OG with offbeat drum timing
first one
why not a jpegmafia video?
Yes
Sounds great, but seems like pretty standard production technique.
yeah because it IS standard technique. he is offering nothing extraordinary or even remotely in line with the clickbaity title. odd behavior if you ask me
Not really fair to call it F#min7 when it has D in the bass. That's surely a DMaj9
Those beats don't sound like Monte to me, but nice tips anyway
Thanks bro
yall gotta start listening more experimental rap producers man... you honestly think this guy is THE most unique ?
Im honestly not a fan of him or any of the artists in the songs.you referenced. But still, good info.
insanely unique is a meaningless phrase by now
lmfao, not even close to the most unique producers out there
what a funny way to say you’re an idiot.
Doesn’t sound good 😐Monte is hard to copy
He reinvisioned what the artist would do, not be perfect with it🤦
