I'm replying to the truck tire comments. Laura was perfectly safe. The tire was already seated on the rim. Biggest factor, that is not a split rim, which could explode while stirring it up. The 5ton still has split rim military tires. Fill in a tire cage and locking inflator only. Laura I do have a tip for you. Purchase a locking inflator hose. It saves alot of headache going from 5-110psi.
5 ton cargo. Rough riding, spend lot of time in the back of them riding around. 38 years in the military. Now retired and watching you all work. Great job
Awesome day! Glad you managed to work, be heroes, and have fun all at the same time! Just a note of caution (if it hasn’t been raised yet): When pulling stuck vehicles out, always be sure to stand well clear. As in WELL clear. A tow rope that snaps has an insane amount of energy, and can easily cause serious bodily harm and/or death.
I have owned 2 of those 5 tons, good trucks. I pulled a stuck F250 with hay trailer on it and a bobcat out of a wet field. 11 ton empty weight and 6 wheel drive on 4 foot tall tires really helps out in certain situations.
As a firefighter, getting 1 rig stuck is extremely frustrating let alone 3 of them, thank you for helping them out so much. Loved the cattle segment. Being a former truck driver, I've banged under many a low trailer, glad the cattle trailer was empty, hitting a full trailer is like backing into a brick wall! Your dad did 👍. Love this update, keep 'em coming! Stay safe, be well🖖
Glad they got the wild fire under control. Our neighbor lost everything when wild fire went through his yard. Only got 1 pickup out and the clothes on his back. Great video 👍👍
Wow! This video had a lot of interesting content! Those calves are so cute....that must have been a record amount 🐄 born this year! You guys were so helpful getting the fire trucks 🚒 unstuck. Good thing you were nearby to give them a hand. You make every “project” interesting and fun. Love ❤️ you, Grammy
Laura, can you cook? A hearty breakfast in UK would be full blt. Bacon, sausage, fried egg, baked beans, hash browns and toast with coffee - delicious. Surely better than a processed food breakfast.. great show.
A few years ago we came home from visiting family over Easter to a completely black yard. The pasture next to our house had a fire, they think was some kids. Fortunately a neighbor saw it and called 911, fire department was able to keep our house and all our outbuildings safe. Silver lining though, we had tons of Morel mushrooms grow that spring!
It seems that no matter how bad of a day I'm having I always feel a bit better after watching one of your videos. Your positive personality is so up lifting. Thank you.
This is the main reason why I watch! She's a ray of sunshine! Oh and she's so ADORABLE and CUTE! Many women (for some reason?) hate being told that? It's a GOOD thing when guys say this! We love it! Embrace it! LOL
Hey Laura you should look into picking up a yank-em rope. We use for recoveries when offroading and for certain applications it works so much easier than a tow strap.
Matt Winder (another popular youtuber) uses them and now has his own made ropes by Yankum! They are pricey but they have enough stretch built in to avoid damaging/bending up the vehicles. The pros use these.
I've been watching recently. It's great to see what agricultural life is like in other countries 😁 greetings from Poland. PS: I think about English subtitles in my films.
Way to go helping your local fire Department out. We had a huge structure fire here in Northeast Massachusetts Saturday night, before Easter. I was the only one could hear the popping and see the the huge fire over the trees apparently. Happy Easter.
No, with that hood it is an 800 series truck from the 70's and 80's. Good truck with an automatic trans. The old M35's were a bit better with the 2 speed rears.
Looks like your fire department need an old 5 ton. My department made one into a brush fire truck. It has yet to get stuck, and sees a fair bit of use around the county.
Laura (our ray of Sunshine!) steps in cavvy wavvy (love when she says that) poop in her stocking feet and still smiles and laughs it off! LOL! It's so nice to be able to watch videos of good people out there helping one another like they did with the fire department. You can't see much of this on TV or anymore. Nothing but doom and gloom most everywhere else these days because they won't put anything else on. This is why we love to watch these videos! I'm a Laura, Grant, Cale/LEAAD fan!
I hate having my face so close to high pressure tires like that too when airing them up. Especially when they are old and sitting around with dry rot cracks in them!
And they are gracious enough to accept their help! I once had offered to help a city policeman here to free his stuck SUV from a snow drift and was told to go eff off. I didn't smart off or anything and I was polite. The cop was just vicious and probably embarrassed from his mistake and took it out on me. A simple "no thanks" would have sufficed.
Wow, ok, that was an interesting day! I have to say, I've never seen a 6 wheel drive firetruck before. That was great that you guys were able to get them out of the muck. Awesome video!
Give your dad a thumbs up on his truck! Let Grant know that its not a good idea to try to do a jerk to pull a badly stuck vehicle out...I've seen frames torn doing that. Great video Laura! Give Grant an extra hug for dealing with the moo'ers.
I suggest you go watch Matts Off Road Recovery /Casey's off road recovery. Sometimes yanking a stuck vehicle out of mud/snow/sand, is the only way, with a kinetic rope, like a Yankum rope. I would agree, not to do it with a fixed strap, like they used here.
Hello from North Platte NE. Love the videos, I ranch out here just started 3 years ago don’t have near the herd of cows that you guys have but it’s building. I’m curious to how you like the fendt tractor compared to the John deer’s I run 1990 Ford tractors in my haying operation and thinking about another tractor
I think both Grant and Laura would look great wearing cowboy hats! They don't wear them much in Nebraska because of those high winds blowing them off all of the time.
I love Hannah Barron! I was watching her videos when Laura's was linked to the video menu there which is how that I discovered Laura's. Also Erin Holbert.
Marine Corps was the 5 ton and I think the army called the smaller version a duce and a half. For me joined marine corps 1983 and that's what I remember from an old red patch
Great video Laura! You’re a good farmer! I love watching your positive attitude. I live in eastern Nebraska and we have a tremendous volunteer fire department also!
I am so proud of you and your boyfriend hand work on your family farm and your farm you are own 17 and you can dive farm gear and my name is Richard Donovan and I live in Australia gold Coast QLD and you all ways put a smile on your dad face
Excellent video as always, out of curiosity though, what is that grey denim style jacket ? You're rocking at the start with the high collar, kinda looks similar to carhartt products but looks quite damn comfy too, thanks :)
that looks like a job for .matts off road recovery. check out there channel . as much as you pull things bubba rope yankum rope. Kinetic energy. i like your channel
That fire truck looks like a Stewart & Stephens 1078 . They are pretty tough, Good job Grant & Laura.
The inner child of dads - what can you say - it's divine... Nice driving Grant = you ain't no cowboy but you can drive.

Wheeled a military truck back n the day n Europe..Total all wheel drive pulling machine !! Loved It !!! We called em “Duece n a half”..
You Were All A Big Help !! All In All Quite A Bit Got Done!! 👍👊

When everyone needs help, they call 911. Who does 911 call when THEY need help. They call Laura Farms. That is awesome.
As someone who has been with a stuck fire truck I sure wish we would have had some farmers around to help us.
Beautiful start.
Laura has good taste in art! Her video scenes and music selections are perfect!
As a firefighter, getting 1 rig stuck is extremely frustrating let alone 3 of them, thank you for helping them out so much.
Loved the cattle segment.

It's Grate that y'all Helped the Fire Department out.
LAURA YOU HAVE A AWESOME TEAM.
You guys needed a Mike's Offroad Recovery Rope! Yankum out of there.
NM, that military truck was the star of the show!
Glad they got the wild fire under control. Our neighbor lost everything when wild fire went through his yard. Only got 1 pickup out and the clothes on his back. Great video 👍👍

Our fire department converted a truck like your dad's into a brush truck. That baby will go pretty much anywhere.

Love the big military trucks.
Hey Laura you should look into picking up a yank-em rope. We use for recoveries when offroading and for certain applications it works so much easier than a tow strap.

Good job rescuing the fire trucks!
Miss working livestock...a lot. And 28 years on our volunteer fire. Stuck a few times. Glad to see you went right after them to help them out.
That was Awesome Laura....nice to see you two...out saving lives.....great video..👍👍👍👍
if you haven't gotten them yet get dynamic yank ropes for pulling stuck stuff out. Dynamic means stretches. there is a brand called yankum.
LOVE THE OPENING TUNE!!!!!
I've been watching recently. It's great to see what agricultural life is like in other countries 😁 greetings from Poland. PS: I think about English subtitles in my films.

Literally just turned out our cows yesterday , BIG day 👍👍
Military truck I take it is an M35A2!? Love it. Great work helping your community rescuers!

You guys are a Hoot to watch. Luv it.
I love the way that everyone grabbed the rope and pulled in the same direction to accomplish the matters at hand! Also beautiful opening sequence.
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing.
Praying blessings-it’s tough missing Good Friday. Glad things are okay. Love and blessings

Love the military trucks 👍 we have one on the ranch. Great video
Wear earmuffs or earplugs whenever you're filling an old truck tire, I learned that the hard way.
I hate having my face so close to high pressure tires like that too when airing them up. Especially when they are old and sitting around with dry rot cracks in them!
Thanks for getting the firefighters out!!! Sometimes WE even need help!! Who better to ask for help than a FARMER……errr COWBOY Grant!!!!!

Cool video 🥰 have you thought about getting a Yankum rope to replace that dangerous strap?. Hello from New Zealand 👋🇳🇿
Wow, ok, that was an interesting day! I have to say, I've never seen a 6 wheel drive firetruck before. That was great that you guys were able to get them out of the muck. Awesome video!
