    12:48 The moment you realized you'd bought a used header, though you paid for a new one. And while the exterior finish of the pipe is nice, the interior porting, where smoothness actually means something, is unacceptably rough. Had this been my purchase, the video would have been much shorter. As in: a call to the manufacturer to get an RMA number, repacking, and dropping the box off at UPS. And never buying from that manufacturer again. Because that old saying is true: "Fool me once, your fault. Fool me twice, mine."
    Ten additional horsepower from a bolt-on header with no engine management computer retune? What a nice, round, convenient number! Where did it come from? The manufacturer? If so, I'll give you a grain of salt to take it with. Whether measured at the wheels or at the crank, ten additional horsepower should make an ND2 measurably quicker. Did do compare pre-install and post-install zero to sixty times?
    I'm not an expert, but it makes sense to me that if a header makes the engine breathe better, it must be running leaner. This hot-rodded four-banger is already running super lean and with a very high compression ratio: 13:1. I'm sure you are aware of the consequences of running TOO lean. I know the header comes with a lifetime warranty (handy when you buy one that is already used), but how does it affect the manufacturer's warranty on the engine?

    • @ramons14
      @ramons14 Год назад +1

      This is actually a really good question, I imagine on a car this new significant HP gains wouldn’t be possible without the appropriate tune.

      @@joshuamaynard711 love it! Super loud (paired with GWR race exhaust), got tons of compliments. Did an off the shelf openflash tune, which (in theory) added 30 hp or so.
      Downsides of GWR longtube - super low midpipe. looks awesome but hangs and easily scraped.

    How can you tell if you had a exhaust leak? Also did the O2 sensor complain and turn the CEL on?
