Retail is $199, my go to store sold it to me for $249 and I am grateful so I got my hands on the 2024 and the only thing I can compare it to is to the 15th anniversary and they are very different. Of course both are excellent being The 15th anniversary more fruit forward and stronger. I love this year 2024, doubt I will find batch 1 or 2.
Oh my, giving shade to those of us who don't like breakfast meats with our waffles. Fried chicken, on the other hand, is an experience. Enjoyed the whiskey review.
Sir! There's not a juicy sausage anywhere that can hold up to crispy bacon, sorry baht it! Unfortunately I too know the pain of saving up several "paychecks" for a mushroom cloud Blind board for 135$ as a teen and then being afraid to mess up the graphic so I never really used it😅
I used to skate Blind as well! Had a reaper deck and it was one of the best decks I ever owned got flip tricks (I always tried and failed to emulate Rodney Mullen, Daewon Song, and Eric Koston). Had several other decks and completes over the years but Blind was up there with my favorites.
I'm not sure if you've ever done a review on Balcones Texas Pot Still Bourbon but some of the tasting notes you mention are similar to the ones I use for that. Cheers!
lol.. you two are awesome beautiful people. finding a wife that has the same bourbon interest is like finding gold my friend. i really enjoy the breakdown from you both. thanks for making this vid.
The double oaked is pretty unique within their lineup and quite special. Their regular stuff is solid for what it is but this is the one bottle from them that we actively search for.
Any recommendations on how to get a bottle? I dont live in one of the states where it is released. Also, i love your videos!! I cant tell you how much i appreciate your honest blind opinions compared to other channels that hype up bottles just bc of the brand name. Keep up the incredible work!
Thanks for the kind words! Definitely sign up for their lottery via their website and also get on the mailing lists and keep an eye on sites like Seelbachs and BourbonOutfitters who often get a good allocation of bottles for online ordering (but be ready to be fast as demand is high).
They definitely make some tasty stuff. Unfortunately they aren’t honest where their distillate comes from. Seems shady. I think more people would love them if they were honest.
We hear ya. We know this isn’t popular opinion, but when we go to a restaurant and get our socks knocked off by an amazing meal, we don’t really care where they got the ingredients from. Is it nice if the chef comes over and tells us that everything is local? It’s definitely cool. At the end of the day, it doesn’t make the food taste any better or worse though. It’s all about how the meal tastes in the end. We look at whiskey much the same way.
I've never seen 13th Colony anything, and it's out of my reach anyway, but I've heard some great things about their double oaked. But from what I've heard it seems like they're at least somewhat deceptive about the source of their juice. 7:57 Sausage is better than bacon, but links taste better than patties. But best of all is biscuits and sausage gravy with sausage and hash browns. I could eat that ever' day an' twicet on Sundays. 🙂
Regarding their transparency, we hear ya. Ok, finished watching. This one was off the rails! Total chaos. Love the dynamic. Outro was fun. Keep it up.

“I was barely listening to you, but” ☠️😂
Breakfast for dinner is 🔥…when someone knows (really knows) how to make and fluffy, buttery PANCAKE that melts in your mouth…hard to beat
It’s all about; NOT over-mixing the batter and using just a ladle full in a 8” nonstick 🤘🏼
This is one of many that I learn about from you guys! I knew nothing about 13th Colony so everything you say is new to me. Thanks.
Love my 2023. I will absolutely drive to GA if I win the 2024 lottery. If not, I will pay up to get one.

Haven’t been able to try any of the batches because I can’t seem to find it anywhere 😢
It’s a rare bottle to be sure.
You're right about the Tennessee Pride Hot breakfast sausage! Its an excellent breakfast sausage! Great show as always! Cheers!

@stuffandwhiskey Mullen is the GOAT 🐐! I was so stoked when he was in Tony Hawks Pro Skater!😆

Love comparison videos

We are lucky to have found each other and have a ton of fun making these videos together! Thanks for watching!
I have not had any 13th colonies. Maybe 🤔 should try the other offerings first?

Is it more of a Skechers or a Chuck Taylor profile?
Keds! 😂😂
Bacon all day!
