This went on and on UNTIL the shop assistant twigged that the tourist wanted to go to the bank. LOL JS your sense of humor slays me every time

The jelly is served cold with a sweetener(honey, syrup, or sweetened condensed milk). It should taste bitter with a slight hint of sweetness, some people prefer to eat it without a sweetener but most people I know eat it with a sweetener. You ate it correctly in the video. ᵕ̈ 🫶 It supposed to be healthy for you but it’s not for everyone so if you don’t like it, it’s okay. * If it’s not Guilinggao, it’s most likely grass jelly. The way it’s served isn’t that different, with syrup and/or creamer. You can even have it with your milk tea, that’s how I like to enjoy it.
