Good luck with English! It is a stupid hard language, I admire anyone learning it. I am using duolingo to learn Swedish as I don't want to be a typical monolingual/ignorant English speaker, and even though it's supposed to be one of the easiest languages for English-speakers to learn, it's still difficult!!

I have a story from when i was younger, Where i used to live there was a sewer tunnel in a ditch that some kids went in one day and i joined them, there were about 4 of us and we were about a quarter of a mile in the tunnel when we heard scratching noises and heard something coming, We shined our flashlights at the end of the tunnel and saw this creature that was grey skinned with glowing eyes and it appeared to be about 4 feet big on all fours and was crawling slowly twards us and we ran out the tunnel to a nearby park to talk about what we thought it is we went there again with bigger groups of people and we armed ourselves with knives and nerf guns we went a mile deep this time untill we heard the scratching noises again and most of us ran and some were slow and screamed and when everyone got out of the tunnel the person that couldnt keep up had a scratch on his leg and his parents diddnt believe how he got that scratch. Now i have a fear of sewer tunnels since that day.
I think that is the Rake. It's a humanoid, pale creature that stands on all fours. If you ask me, it looks like it's ready to rip your face off (if you have seen the pictures.)

The second one was just an alligator. I think its eyes looked like it was glowing because on camera, animals eyes are glowing.

Completely agree. I used to work for a demo crew and was in a southern state doing a job. We had to do a walk through to make sure no hazard materials were left behind before the hazmat team left. We did our walk through and found three at least 10 foot alligators living in a flooded drainage tunnel that lead to a very large lake on the property next door. We had to have fish and game come out and they got one and I guess the other two left to go back out to the lake. I was happy to have found them bc they would have most likely died if we had tarted to demo it. Fish and game put a large concrete slab on the end of the tunnel so nothing else could go up.

When i was about 12 me and a few friends were walking through the woods to get to this rope swing we made in the woods on a giant tree. We had been using this swing for about a year and a half with no issues it was super fun. This day however while walking to it we all got this weird feeling like something wasnt right. My sister said it feels like we're being hunted. That made one of my friend say "If we are being hunted it would have to be pretty big there's like 6 of us." All of a sudden we heard what could only be described as a T-Rexs footsteps coming straight at us. We all took off running back the way we came. The footsteps sounded like they started to run after us, we all started screaming and crying like babies all the way to my house (it was the closest) and told my mom and older brother what happened. They laughed and said it was probably construction close by that we heard. My sister and I know there was not construction close by and even if there was the machines wouldn't have chased us... To this day she will not got into any wooded area and she lives in the city.

I have a similar experience without being chased; I went on a trail with my S/O, We went in; I felt that something was terribly wrong & I was terrified, As we went deeper I heard a terrifying Scream that did not sound human nor a Animal; I ran as fast as I could, Yelling at my S/O to follow me.
I have been doing paper routes for 30 years, both in the city and in the countryside, and since I can't usually sleep during the nights even when I'm free I tend to go for walks or sometimes drives then, if the weather is nice. I have never seen anything weird, but I have had that same "it feels spooky" feeling sometimes, including in places where I have gone often, and never felt at all weird those other times. And sometimes that feeling has had pretty clear boundaries - you are walking on a forest path, no problems, feeling nice and safe and admiring the moonlight, and suddenly you get scared for no reason, then after passing that one spot you start feeling just fine again.
And sometimes the other way around too, on one paper route that was in a residential zone with older family homes, there was this one house where I took the newspaper to their door, and there was this huge old fir I walked past and under on the way. And every time I was close to that fir I suddenly felt very comfortable, safe, and cozy. That "zone" was only close to that tree, about the reach of its branches, once I got from under it the feeling always passed.

This happened when I was at least 11 years old, our home was in the middle of nowhere and I was exploring parts of the area since there were a lot of nature trails and such and wandered about a half a mile from my home when I discovered a large tunnel filled with water. It was a deep tunnel so there was no light shining from the other end and the air was thick and heavy, plus there was this faint yet rancid stench coming from the tunnel that almost smelled like a combination of a gym locker and garbage. Of course, I threw a rock inside just to hear it echo down the tunnel, but seconds later a loud unholy shriek reverberated within the tunnel and OMG, I’ve never ran so fast in my life. And to this day I still have nightmares about that wretched tunnel.

Just a few days ago I myself encountered some strange paranormal humanoid while driving home from a friend's house at 1 in the morning! I think I agree with the girl in one of the stories, what I saw was very similar to a wendigo and it moved unnaturally there was no way it was human and it was solid so it wasn't an apparition

Yeah, the Cabbagetown monster one freaked me out a little more than it should have. Not only do I LIVE in toronto, a few years back, my little family and I were at the lake and we saw a creature swimming in the water that none of us coukd identify. It looked like a beaver, but it had more of an otter-like face and tail. It was also much smaller than beavers. I thought possibly groundhog or muskrat, later I saw something where a dood had a mink (the Minkman whom I watched on the channel "Clint's Reptiles") and it reminded me so much of the little guy we saw out for a leisurely swim. I believe now, since looking up animals in the area, that it was either a mink, martin, or muskrat. I'm kinda banking on the muskrat as it looked too beaver like to be the others, but most definitely had that smaller thinner tail. I also just looked them up again and photos of them swimming in Lake Ontario kind of solidified it for me. I just can't be 100% sure because it was at least 4 years ago, and it was a little difficult to make out being half submerged and all.
Anyway, I actually hadn't heard that the weird creature that was found was on the very same lake. I kinda wonder if it was the same little dude that sadly met his end. Either way, he was hella adorable when alive, if it was. Probably wasn't though. I'm certqin there are more than a single muskrat that live here haha. I don't usually put stock into non-human monsters, nor creatures unaffected by disease. Like, yeah, rabid animals? Monsters. Serial killers? Monsters all day. I would guess it was just another kind of wildlife that has been hurt or disformed in some way. The thing we saw a picture of almost looks like a lrge, bloated opossom.
I used to live in a haunted 120 year old house in old Toronto with a cemetary just outside my backyard. Had a lot of instances of objects moving on their own, doors opening and closing by themselves and scratching sounds on the 3rd floor windows where there was nothing outside to get close enough to the windows to hit them. Also a frequent smell of sulphur and rotting earth. Glad I moved.

I was thinking for the Tunnel of Bones story it could have been a person with possible mental conditions that created the bone structure and a rabid dog chasing the narrator? Either way, it's a pretty chilling story!
We recently moved into a new house in November. Really close to the house is an old run-down stone shack. it's one story and covered with trees in a ditch. My sister and my friend went inside, I left a Pokémon card there in December, I went back this month (February) no one has been down there. We had also seen a coyote right outside the shack on the road. We don't really know what it was, it looked like a fox coyote hybrid. The weirdest part is that we don't have coyotes here.

Not sure where you're at, but coyotes have spread across most of the US now, including areas they weren't in 10, or even 5 years ago. And if you've never seen a coyote in person, they can appear fox-like.
I have found a massive snake similar to an anaconda who lived in my old forest house. It moves through the pipes which are which are usually half full. The pipes are quite large so it has a lot of space. I first found it in the flooded basement. It slithered out the broken shower drain. I occasionally feed it

I have heard that story about the guy in the tunnels under Baltimore before. I became interested in seeing if I could actually find it and it turns out that the tunnels do exist but there is only one way to see what is down there.☺
You know: if I was driving through an abandoned town after dark, alone, and something went "thunk" on the roof, I WOULD not stop to look! 😏 Not until I was several miles down the road and out of the place.
If you were in a run-down area, and it wasn't as abandoned as it looked, some criminal in hiding could throw something at your car, to make you stop, to carjack you. 😏

Kifuki or however you say her name's story is only one of many. That creature she saw is called a skinwalker. My friends have had plenty of experiences of this out near a local reservoir of weird creatures screeching in the middle of the night and then proceeding to run in front of their vehicles. I believe I have heard the screeching late at night myself from the same reservoir and it is terrifying. Needless to say I left immediately. And we don't have any bobcats or animals that would make such a screeching sound where I live since the reservoir sits right on the edge of town.

When my dad was younger, his grandma use to tell him her house was haunted and she would turn the lights off and hide before he could see her so he'd think something else did it and then when he was getting up to turn it back on, she'd flick them back on.. she did it for awhile before he finally caught her. But when she passed we had to go move her stuff out the house. My dad a full grown man and me about 16-17ish. He told me that story a million times and I had never been brave enough to go upstairs when I was a kid. But we had to go up there and get the stuff and as soon as we got in the room the lights turned off. Neither of us anywhere near the light switch and only us there. And they turned back on real quick. We laughed thinking the power went out for a second or something but then they went out again and this time we noticed all the other lights down the hall still on. We freaked tf out and ran out the house and I've never went back. If you believe in ghosts, I wonder if it was his grandma playing with him one last time cause she did die in the house.

Google maps seems to have the most interesting detours. A section of one of our main interstates was closed due to a fire and Google maps rerouted everyone down this long narrow dirt road with blind corners. It was a nice place but not so nice when there’s a ton of traffic including semi trailers.

It was a normal night. I woke up because I was thirsty so I went to my kitchen and drank some water. While going back to bed, I heard a very loud screaming outside. I quickly looked out of my window and saw a 2 meter creature in the dark with big arms and sharp nails, looking right at my window. I froze in fear. After a few minutes, it disappeared in the dark. I still can't forget what I saw and it is my first time telling this to anyone.

When a kid talks about a strange creature people chalk it up to imagination, when a adult talks about a strange creature it is more believable
Yeah stories like the one about the kids in the hospital are why I never messed around with water flooded environments. Especially after seeing alligators daily growing up in the country.
A big metal container deep inside a dark tunnel sounds exactly like the kind of prison some psychopath might make for their victims. Those kids could have at least reported what they encountered to the police.
Many serial killers have used shipping containers to lock their victims in, so they could torture and abuse them before finally killing them. Those kids might have saved a life had they told the authorities about what they saw and heard.

In the mid 80's this happend to me and 2 friends.
We were filming a music video clip in my house mid week, everyone else was out at work. We had the video camera locked in place on a tripod in another room, we were sat with the video recorder and the monitor, we could see the live feed from the camera. While we were discussing the composition of the shot, the camera suddenly panned to the right. After sitting there for 5 mins not speaking, just staring at the screen and each other, we went out and checked the camera and tripod. It was still all locked in place, just pointing in the new direction. We never did find an explanation. BTW the camera was 6 feet away from us with a 12 foot cable, so there was plenty of slack. And no pets.
After that we stuck to filming outside.

I've had an experience with the Wendigo. I hate even typing the name. Not sure if it was real or dream but it scares me to the fullest extent. He walked into my house had to duck to get in the threshold of the door. He was huge looked like a wolf man 7 foot tall very fluffy fur on his face, grayish white in color. He looked around spotting me looking at him, stared what seem to be an eternity. And then very suddenly ducked out the door. I went to open the doorway he was gone vanished, I closed the door and went back to my bed. I don't remember falling asleep but I woke up and remembered everything very vividly. Scary af

Why 3 middle school kids exploring an abandoned hospital the literal worst place to be
Allegedly theres some really scary things going on in Southern Kentucky around a small town called Monticello and the infamous Daniel Boone National Forest next door. Theres been sightings of some massive creatures in and around the forest there. Rem Kentucky is loaded with caves. The caves in the southern part of Kentucky go VERY DEEP underground also!

You know, I have often thought the same thing! I’m thinking that if there’s a disease here, the chances of the cure being here is pretty good too. Why would we find a cure for something on an asteroid? Or the moon?
Ive got a odd story to tell. A few years back when it was the first day of 1st grade for me. I got lost when i took the wrong bus. And got lost in the suburbs. While this may seem tame, while i trying to get back home i saw what i can only describe as 6 to 3 tarantulas stuck together end to end and they were alive i clearly heard spider noises. And moving limbs, i ran back and got home via a cop car. I continued to watch that post for years on end. And in 2019 the thing was gone off the telephone post. I have yet to see it since. Since i live very far from tarantulas tell me what you think.

There is a video from a guy who explores abandoned mines, here on youtube, that has a genuine strange mystery caught on video. He enters a mine and gets a hundred or so feet in when there is a hissing speaking sound coming from nearby. It sounds a lot like that snake speech from the harry potter movies. Really really creepy. He gets spooked and decides to tun back very nonchalantly. You should check it out some time.
