It seems easy to set up when it's mounted 2 feet off the ground, but most of the set-up and take-down processes seem like they'd be considerably more difficult if it's mounted on the roof of a tall vehicle. For example, when taking down the high-rise, pulling that bungee down, etc. or installing the awning supports, or tucking away the awning and other material when taking down the tent means that you have to be able to reach most of the sides readily. Are people packing an extra ladder or stepstool to do all this?
with the price of this thing, the rood racks and the battery pack for the lights should be included like all of the other rooftop tents on the market, and the second roof should have flys aswell
Hi Paul, haven't seen any other tent that comes with the roof bars or a battery pack. The second roof doesnt need a fly because it isnt a point that can be entered through. It would be obsolete unless mounted backwards.
I’ll be buying one of these with your 270 awning to go on the side of it with the racks to mount a solar panel next week. Can I buy it from the Brisbane store near Nudgee shell service station or do I need to go to a shop ?
