Did you all enjoy this style video? With a little of everything? More normal paced footage? Instead of sped up? Let me know! ⬇️⬇️ 😘 thanks for watching!
Last winter with my kids in school I kept everything cleaned up nice and then when they came home I felt my anxiety rise. I knew I had to change. It's hard but..... it's worth it. Happy mom, happy family 😊
My first thought after watching today's video...BE KIND TO YOURSELF💗 Yes, with three young kid's, your new business venture, and running your household, you are definitely going to feel the pangs of being pulled in all directions. You do what you can, when you can. The most important thing is, your children are happy and healthy, you and your husband love each other and your children, THAT'S a home. And last, your love and faith in God will always bring you comfort in times of stress of worry, remember to turn to him💗 Hugs from Arizona 🌵😎🌞
Lynette, I love this kind of video. These are the household chores we do every day and the errands that we have to run. Of course being older and not having the children we don’t have that to deal with but we kind of move a little slower than you do!😂😂. All day, every day, cook, clean, laundry and errands, I personally love it. Being a housewife is what I love. Anyway this type video is what I like, so do more of them and of course having the kids in them is a bonus. You know that those of us who follow you on a regular basis love those little kiddos just like they were ours.
Thank you for this video. I grew up with 2 parents who worked outside the home and never had an example of homemaking. Our house was always messy and no one ever showed any joy with cleaning it. I struggle with cleaning and even knowing what should be regularly cleaned. This video was very helpful and inspirational. Thank you so much!
Enjoyed todays video. Oaklynn is certainly a little homemaker already.I remember my grandpap making me a play kitchen from wood and painting on the burners on the stove & a window etc. He would take it out into the grape arbor so I could pretend the arbor was my house.
Loved the video, can’t wait to try the muffins. You seem a little down this video. I totally understand the craziness in your daily life. My daughter also has 3 kids , 2 older girls and a younger boy. And she also runs herself short. So please always take some time for you. God Bless
I came across your channel a few days ago. I have relatives whom are members of the Mennonite faith all the way out here on the Navajo Nation, Arizona. I am always in awe of the singing. I have had opportunities to listen. It brought tears to my eyes as I remembered the wonderful singing at my great aunt’s funeral years ago.
Hello, Lynette. I sure like the background music you play in your videos. Yes, I like this type of video. I came across your sight a few months ago and check in ever so often. Enjoy your channel. I'm 66 and my children are long grown up with families of their own. I still enjoy seeing how younger families are doing. Thank you for sharing. God bless.
I admire you so much, Lynette. I love your decorating videos. I’m so about that myself. Please know, anything you focus on, is always interesting. I watch you because of your honesty snd vulnerability and most of all your sincere, lovely heart.
For a working mom of three, your home is so organized. That is your effort and ideas. Life happens to a home. That is what it is built for. To not have mess and occasional chaos is much more of a problem .
It's hard when the kids are young but when you look back having kids is the most wonderful thing and what if they do make a mess playing they're just kids house is meant to live in you seem like you are wonderful mother and I'm sure it rubs off on your children thank you for sharing you have a beautiful family very blessed God bless you and your family
I dislike laundry as well. Due to living in a tiny apartment with no storage space I had to use baskets instead of drawers to keep my clothes. I'm not going back to drawers! Having my baskets to put the clothes or towels in while folding (usually rolling up) it's so easy to put them back on their place and actually fun too! So the blessing of that tiny apartment was to learn a way for me to enjoy folding and putting away laundry.
I’ve become one of your loyal followers. I’m a 78-year-old Ohio Conference Mennonite great-grandmother, but not too old to learn from you & to enjoy sort of being part of your daily life. Shalom!
You are so busy ... Anyone who does not appreciate how busy a Mom is, especially one with 3 children, is not in touch with real life . You are amazing Lynette ❣
Lynette: You are one busy lady and you and your family are normal. Nothing can be perfect all the time. Love watching Oaklynn, she is adorable and looks like a little girl, not a baby. I can't believe how fast she has grown.
Funny story about me folding clothes on top of my freezer in the laundry room....well they tended to stay there and they would just get in a mess of what I had folded. One day in October I had off work but my boys had school and my husband work. Well I got all the laundry caught up and actually put the clothes were they belonged. I slept soI good that night until my husband woke me up before 6 in the a.m. saying we've been robbed, somebody broke in and I was like did the get the stero, no, did they get the TV, no, well what did they take? He said "all of our clothes. he said he went in to get his clothes and everything was missing. I could have punched his lights out but he was laughing so hard that he woke our boys up. We have been married 44 years now but he still makes jokes about my laundry habits.
Your videos are so encouraging and fun to watch. Your family is absolutely beautiful. You inspire me to cook , clean and hug babies. Your life reflects the love you have for your family.
Videos are good no matter what you post. love seeing kiddos. Your house is far from dirty! its lived in so it look it once in while. we all have days we are tired busy somethings don't get done but that's normal everyday life. Be Blessed!
I really enjoy watching your videos while I nurse my newborn. I am a Mom of 7, homeschooling Mama, and our family runs a nonprofit. Just like you I struggle with keeping up the house. No matter how much I clean, it alway looks like a Bomb went off. I recently hired help to clean my house once a week. (Not bedrooms, just all main areas and bathroom). It’s a HUGE help! I still feel like I clean up everyday, but now I have someone to do all the deep cleaning for me. What a stress relief!!!!! I feel so much better and my house looks amazing! I say go for it! Get some help! You will feel instant relief! 😀
I loved the video! As usual. I must agree with your statement about “stages in life”. I struggled with housework until about three years ago. Your videos and How Jen does it (on RUclips) helped me tremendously. Now I actually enjoy it. It helps that my daughter is now a teenager and doesn’t need me as much She can also clean up after herself much better as well. Great video ❤️
Always enjoy going along on your daily adventures! Thank you for sharing your giving heart that encourages and inspires! Blessings always to you and yours!🙏🏻
Loved this weeks video. I like to see what other ladies are making for supper. It gives me inspiration and new ideas for my own family. Those muffins! Definitely need to go follow Heidi and make some.
Wash and then pat dry your strawberries, and store them in a jar with a lid...in the fridge, they will last way longer........as far as making the cream cheese go throughout the muffins, add a small amount of the batter to each then add the cream cheese, and top with remaining muffin mix, and bake as usual, I do this all the time, and it's great to do it with chocolate muffins, and putting a small amount of chocolate chips in then finishing with the remaining mix, it makes a " pocket " of chocolate.
I loved the video! And thank you for showing your mess… no body wants to do that (understandably) but my goodness, it sure makes me feel better that I’m not the only one that has a messy house sometimes! Love your content, Lynette!
Totally can relate to the keeping up on house. There was a time I did my entire home, floor boards, windows, everything once a week. But now I only wish I could. I was young then. It’s harder when you get old, so one room at a time. Blessings, beautiful family Lynette.
I understand your tiredness! I raised 4 children and worked part time. I hired a cleaning lady to help me keep up because my husband traveled and he maintained our big yard. These years don’t last long so delegate so you have the time you want with the beautiful kiddos!
I'm glad you feel like you could do with some help in the house; it makes me feel better about having help at 71 years of age. I think you do an amazing job 💕💕
A working mum is hard at times but if you can get the help for cleaning your home go for it ,its one problem sorted out ,live your channel and you have a wonderful family ❤❤🙏🙏
Also wanted to say that when I watch all your videos I admire you. You are faithful to the Lord, your husband, a fantastic mother and so super super talented!!
Can you share how you cook your roast in the crock? I seem to have no luck with roasts unless it is prime rib. You should at least try a house cleaner and see how you like it. For me as a working Mom and to come home to a clean house is so nice. You end up being much more patient with your family and having time to spend with them rather being tired and overwhelmed that there is always so much to do.
I put a whole roast in. Add a bunch of broth. Chicken or beef. Doesn’t really matter. Put a half-whole stick of butter on top. Season well with salt - pepper- garlic powder & whatever else you like. Worcestershire sauce for a bit of extra kick. And then sliced onions and carrots. That’s pretty typical. Either cook it on high for 5 or more hours. Or low for 6-8 ?
I love this video today because you were so open with daily struggles..I feel your pain with the housework..I fought with my husband on getting help.. I finally agreed for twice a month just for the sheets, bathroom, dusting..I still do the deep cleaning but I have to say the light help does help with reducing my stress level xox
Oaklynn is taking such good care of her baby!!! Loved tagging along with you, just doing normal everyday things. Everything you made looks delicious! :)
Those pumpkin muffins look amazing! I’d say if you can afford it go for the cleaning lady once a week or every other . I always wanted to be a Mom that could live with clutter and not everything done , I did to a certain point because I couldn’t keep up , but I feel I like if I could have delegated more I could have been a better Mom .
Love, love that you take the time to put your recipes And direction in the description box thank you so much for people like me who can not cook thank you so much for sharing
The putting away of laundry got to me when all my kids were very young. I put stacking baskets in my laundry room, labeled for each person. I did a load a day, folded and put in their baskets and only put away when full. As my kids got a little bigger it became their chore to make their bed and bring down their dirty laundry every morning. In the evening before baths they took their baskets up and put their stuff away. By first or second grade my kids were all doing that, as was my husband when he had time so I only put my own laundry away. Funny thing is when I visit my adult daughters they wash my laundry everyday and give the clean back at night haha!
Love these videos where you do a little bit of everything. I always love watching when you cook. Im going to try those muffins. I love anything pumpkin. Have a blessed evening!
Enjoyed your video, I enjoy all of them. I like to have a clean house but sometimes it isn't. I also am more comfortable if I go somewhere & not everything is perfectly in order😉
You and your husband are running businesses. So, you are a full time wife and mom, running businesses, doing youtube, juggling life. Your house won't be perfect. You don't have time to be a good mom, good wife, help provide for your family's future, and be a perfect homemaker. Something has to give. You clearly don't have a gross house, it may get messier than you like, but something has to give. I completely understand this sentiment. As a former full time homemaker and now a work from home lawyer I 100% understand your struggle. Gotta give yourself a little grace even if it's hard. I'm a perfectionist. I love cooking entirely from scratch, I love cleaning the house top to bottom , being up on all my errands. But, I am helping to pay off our mortgage and save for the future of my family. I don't have kids (hopefully someday), but when I do I might need to take a step back a bit from work. Honestly, all you do inspires me so much. Thank you for being real!
Your comment that you wish the cream cheese was spread throughout: Maybe you could pipe both the filling and the batter to make that cream cheese spread more evenly? I know that’s more work, but it’s worth a shot! Or maybe use like a butter knife to slightly mix it before putting them in the oven? Or even just do layers? Three ideas I thought of when you commented on them. ☺️ They sound delicious!
Love these types of videos. As a mom of 3 it’s nice getting new recipes to try and see how other moms handle day to day. Love your decorating skills at your house! And I also love seeing Sarasota footage!
Love this vlog so much Lynette I hope you are doing okay I just want to wish you and your family a Happy Saturday and I'm looking forward to your next upcoming videos 😊👍❤.
Lynette, as i am watching the vlog, you just said you might need help. Oh, i hope that you find some. You and Megan are my spiritual daughters..When you talked about your husband coming to Christ i found myself in tears. It was so encouraging to see in your eyes how wonderful is God's plan of life changing salvation. I am 63, retired nurse, married to a Godly man for 40 years, 4 chilren and 5 beautiful grandchildren. I guess i just wanted to encourage you in all that you do. God is using to change people.....
After grilling, put the chicken in a pan with the marinade, slice onion & green peppers on top of chicken. Cover & simmer till veggies are how you like them (we like them fairly crisp), cover chicken & veggies with your choice of cheese (we use mozzarella or pepper jack), cover till cheese is melted and enjoy. My step mother was trying to copy Chilis smothered chicken
Lynette, I really enjoyed the video today. They are always so calming and peaceful to me 🤗 Thank you for sharing. You have a beautiful family. God bless.
Hi Lynette, Thank you for sharing your day with us. I enjoyed this video due to the honesty it shows. Some videos I see make you believe everyone just loves doing all the chores we face each day WRONG! I don't hate everything but there are some things I really don't enjoy LOL. Thanks again for the refreshing look at real life.
Love this video style. More a realistic view of the daily lives we live. Great pace, not speeded up, which I much prefer. Totally agree on the laundry folding so it was nice to see someone with my daily struggles with that job.🙂 All the 'To Do's' can definitely be overwhelming at times. I aways tell myself Rome was not built in a day. Thank you for sharing. Nice relaxing calm music too.
Excited to try those muffins - they look yummy. I am “concerned” about the amount of sugar in them . . . But pumpkin and cream cheese with chocolate chips sounds like a winner for sure! Thanks for taking us with you. BTW your idea of a mess, compared to my mess. . . . Ah I’m a dirt bag in comparison LOL
Hello Lynette, your food is filled with so much flavour. It looks so delicious. Stick with it , it will get better. Keep safe and be lucky me lovely 💞💞💞
Hello, I am new to your channel. I first seen you on your girls trip to Waco, Tx. Magnolia Market. I really enjoyed your adventure. Today, I chose your video over a “relationship “ video. You are one busy and AMAZING lady! I am going to have to go take a nap after watching you do all that housework LOL!!! Truly, you are blessed to have a “mess” to clean up after. I loved watching your little girl on the kitchen counter watching and helping you. That was so beautiful! Get the help if you can but, don’t put so much pressure on yourself. Remember, this to shall pass. Love from California.
If you flip your mindset just a bit, you can begin offering up EACH small annoying daily task you do to God as a sacrifice. The minute I started that, the chores became joyful. Try it Lynette, I promise you that it will change everything! You can thank Him for your back health so that it does not hurt loading/carrying/folding the clothes. You are so blessed that your back health is good so you can stand and cook at the stove. Having someone come in once every week or 2 can help your peace of mind. Good luck!
I loved this video Lynn but I feel like you didn't. I pray you are ok. You do the videos you like to do. We just appreciate you sharing your life and family. Love you.
Don't worry if your home isn't 'museum quality' always ready for the white gloves. My home is clean enough to be healthy and messy enough to be comfortable. 😁
I absolutely detest housework but I love the end result 😊plus I enjoy cooking and decorating so the house MUST BE cleaned in order to do those things. my boys are responsible for the trash, straightening the living room and putting their clothes away once folded, so that helps.
Loved the video Lynette, as always! The house looks just fine and the potatoes and muffins looked great! Little Oaklyn is growing so fast! Love from England 🏴 ❤️
I sooooo hear you about not always being a cheerful homemaker. It does get monotonous and hum drum sometimes. But, we must march on. Attitude is everything, right?!😄. Love your channel.
I'm with you i dont like putting laundry away either. Not sure ehy but I dont. Like your normal stuff. We all have it and do it but wlways nice to see others normal stuff. Muffins look amazing.
Hi Lyn! Great vlog, been missing them. Muffins yummm!! I'm glad to see Oaklynn got a cute kitchen, I'm sure it keeps her busy. Dinner looks good🥰. Thanks for sharing. Hope to see more!👍👍
Really enjoyed your video as well Lynette. I think when one’s life becomes so busy it’s time to prioritize as to what you can manage. As mother’s we put a lot of expectations onto ourselves and keep doing our best to keep up with all of our responsibilities. It can be exhausting. So.. if you’re feeling a need to offload housework by hiring a cleaner go for it. I did when my children were young, and it was so wonderful to come home on a Friday to the smell of PineSol,(dating myself)😊and to know that I didn’t have to spend the weekend cleaning.
YES!! Loved this style of video!! Loved it. And those muffins are incredible. I made them last week and filmed it for my day in the life that will be up on Thursday! That’s so funny!
I am here, lol! Your little co-host on the videos is soooo adorable! Looking forward to changes in your home too. Stay well and hugs and love to the Yoders.
Did you all enjoy this style video? With a little of everything? More normal paced footage? Instead of sped up? Let me know! ⬇️⬇️ 😘 thanks for watching!
Yes 🙌🏻 do this style more Lynette (please) ☺️
I enjoyed that a lot!!!
Yes, very much.
Love this style
Yes!
Last winter with my kids in school I kept everything cleaned up nice and then when they came home I felt my anxiety rise. I knew I had to change. It's hard but..... it's worth it. Happy mom, happy family 😊
I love the word home making. We don’t really have it in Swedish, it’s called hushållsarbete, household work.

Loved this relaxing video. You’re so down-to-earth, Lynette and a pure joy to watch. Sweetest family. 😍
Thank you for this video. I grew up with 2 parents who worked outside the home and never had an example of homemaking. Our house was always messy and no one ever showed any joy with cleaning it. This is a pretty normal me these days I’d say. I purposely tried to keep things pretty relaxed. 😀

Good morning Lynette and fellow followers. Sending you all the best wishes of the day from Spain!
Definitely agree, not all parts of homemaking are enjoyable, but all parts do add value to our family’s lives.

Oaklynn is taking such good care of her baby!!! Loved tagging along with you, just doing normal everyday things. Everything you made looks delicious! :)
I like the mid century touches in your home
Can’t believe how grown up Oaklyn is! She’s such a beauty 🎈❤️

The pumpkin muffin recipe is the best! I think they are the best muffins I’ve ever made! Thank you for sharing. I enjoy your videos!
You do work so hard! You are a great person. I loved the music! It was inspiring.
I am so thankful for you being on you tube

As a former full time homemaker and now a work from home lawyer I 100% understand your struggle. Gotta give yourself a little grace even if it's hard. I'm a perfectionist. I love cooking entirely from scratch, I love cleaning the house top to bottom , being up on all my errands. But, I am helping to pay off our mortgage and save for the future of my family. I don't have kids (hopefully someday), but when I do I might need to take a step back a bit from work. Honestly, all you do inspires me so much. Thank you for being real!
Thank you!! I’m also trying to slow down the business side of things. Still trying to figure out what route will work better. ☺️ so that will help
Really enjoyed this relaxing videos! Love your videos especially homemaking , cleaning, cooking and baking! But love them all!
Enjoyed the vid -i make pumpkin cupcakes w cream cheese that have butterscotch chips in the cream cheese! So yum and compliment the pumpkin flavor
Great video! And never feel bad about not getting it all done. It happens to all of us and the world doesn’t come to an end. 👍🏻 Blessings! 💖🌸
You could easily cut the sugar in half. Most recipes asking for 2 cups sugar I do 1 and it’s delicious and sweet!:)
I love your videos Lynette.God bless you and you entire family.
🥰🥰
If you flip your mindset just a bit, you can begin offering up EACH small annoying daily task you do to God as a sacrifice. The minute I started that, the chores became joyful. Try it Lynette, I promise you that it will change everything! You can thank Him for your back health so that it does not hurt loading/carrying/folding the clothes. You are so blessed that your back health is good so you can stand and cook at the stove. Having someone come in once every week or 2 can help your peace of mind. Good luck!
Thanks for that!
I loved this video Lynn but I feel like you didn't. I pray you are ok. You do the videos you like to do. We just appreciate you sharing your life and family. Love you.
Yes this is my favorite style of your videos. Please do more when you can. Oaklynn is so cute!
Yes, I really enjoyed this video! It's great to see the normal routine once in a while.
Oh I love your back room! It’s so cozy. I hope you don’t change it too much😀
Good idea to get rid of book mites put used books in freezer for a day or two!!!
Very relaxing video, watched while I tidied up my own house, the music you played touched my heart during a particularly difficult day!❤
Love it, Oaklynn is so big, she’s so cute, love the pink jumpsuit with the pink bow 😍😎
I enjoyed this style of video so very much - and you solved my dilemma of a what to make for a family weekend coming up!
Loved your vii,I really appreciate you sharing your video! Thank you and God bless you and your precious beautiful family!
I love your vlog style videos, feels like I’m tagging along with a friend🥰
Loved the video Lynette, as always! The house looks just fine and the potatoes and muffins looked great! Little Oaklyn is growing so fast! Love from England 🏴 ❤️
Precious Oaklyn. Little angel. Loved your video as always. Thank you.
I sooooo hear you about not always being a cheerful homemaker. It does get monotonous and hum drum sometimes.
But, we must march on. Attitude is everything, right?!😄. Love your channel.
I've had Heidi's recipe saved too. They look amazing!
Yes! I loved this style video! I plan to make those muffins, they looked delicious! God bless!
Hope to see more!👍👍
You are doing a great job! I love your videos. This is a busy season for you. Give yourself lots of grace. ❤️
You're such a great mom and housewife. I don't know how you juggle all you have to do with your work outside the home.
I love watching your videos. You always have interesting clips. Thank you for sharing your family. I’m going to check out the podcast.
I love this kind of video!!!
I enjoyed this video. Oaklynn is the cutest little girl ever. Those muffins looked yummy.
