Thank you for reporting the truth from both sides. We do not want gun-toting, angry Americans trying to promote insurrection. If ever you wanted an 'ideal' that separates Canadians from Americans, then this is it. We are men and women who try to live in peace. We now have Quebec recognizing that we are a peaceful people who use our laws and firm determination along with a sense of humour to fight evil with good. People are getting fed, assisted as needed and some of our monuments are covered in a Canadian flag upsidedown (the sign of distress) along with flowers. We welcome Americans across the border but in peace. Confronting police by de-escalating. Talking with them and letting them know this is for the officers' rights too. We are not fearful, although that has been the message from the government that we should fear. I quote from a great American "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.". The best way to fight fear is to educate yourself and stare it in the face. Fear always runs and hides just like our Prime Minister and all those who are fearful. Fear runs from a firm conviction and a determination to stand by your principles. We have word weapons (No artillery of any kind is welcome in this protest at all) use words and convictions to discuss with fellow citizens. You know the enemy is weak when they must bring out the military to disperse a lawful protest. The military must remember that they are responsible for our law too.
