yeah, it is about 2,500simoleons or so if you say "under what conditions" when that inheritance pop up appears. 12,000 is actually the lowest I have seen. Normally I see around 20,000, for getting married but I tend to ignore the popup altogether.

Put a feather in his hat and called it Macaroni. Macaroni was actually a fashion style in the 1700's. Basically it was what they called it when a lower class person tried to dress and act upper class but couldn't afford it, so the clothes/accessories were just gaudy, cheap knock off style clothing.
The only reason western wedding gowns are white is because we have been copying Queen Victoria for close to 200 years. Before her women wore whatever color they wanted and I wish our culture would return to that because white dresses are ridiculous in my opinion.

You may want to look and see if guests gave you wedding gifts..... Some do go into the household inventory.
