  • This Boxwood has been in my yard for more than 20 years. It is now too big for my small yard. Its bulk is too "heavy".
I want to try cloud pruning. A few goals:
    1. Light & airy feel
    2. Able to see the structure inside
    3. Cloud floats and are separated from each others.
While I think this may be am impossible task given how fast Boxwood grow, I am giving it a try. Worst case scenario is it grows back to be a globe shape plant.

Fantastic timing for me! I have some overgrown boxwood and this is a beautiful solution! Thank you for sharing!

You are most welcome. Note that it may grow back too quickly. But that will go back to a globe shape, only smaller. Nothing to loose. Good luck to both of us. 💪🏻👍🏻

Wow your boxwood is growing so fast. It is beautiful. I have 10 sprinter boxwoods from provenwinner, they are growing very slowly after 3 years.

They may just take off from now on. Usually, the first 3 years is an adjustment period, I hear.
