    I’m sorry. It appears this functionality is not working right now. Webflow must have taken the capability to click into the custom element and create a span away.

      @@Jlaverdure06 I have not noticed an impact on my site since they changed things up. But I am not able to add anything new. In other words, the Span's that were there are staying, but I can't add another new one with this format. Hopefully they will bring this back soon.

    This does not work for me. I cannot select the text inside of the custom element. It only brings up the settings panel, where I cannot add the text span. I tried with both Google Chrome and Safari (mac). Can anyone confirm whether this still works? Or, did Webflow remove this functionality since this video was made?

    Yeah, same for me, can't click into the custom element to select the text and create the span. I've emailed Webflow to see if they have removed this functionality, but would be good if you could let us know if you can still do this Casey?
