I did this with the alien benches. But i gotta say I've always had trouble doing the foundation glitch but you explain it flawlessly. Thank you so much for all these videos
Great tutorial, Shameless! If you don't mind, I have a tip to help with those pesky foundations. When your staircase sits on multiple foundations, like you showed early in the video, find the one foundation that the stairs are "attached" to. Grab that foundation and set it aside. Temporarily move or store the other 3 foundations. Merge the stairs down into the foundation they're on, then move that foundation into place. Burn the staircase with the flamer trap, make sure you get the bottom stair, then put the foundations back around the one with the stairs. Repair the stairs and boom, done.
Problem is the bottom stair collides with the 2nd foundation, since it doesn't "disappear" when burned. So that doesn't work, well at least, I haven't been able to get it to work.
@@ShamelessTrouble that makes it harder, now don't it? I swear I remember seeing a content creator do this exact thing, and when he (can't remember who it was) placed the foundation with the stairs first, then burned the steps, he was able to snap the other foundations right to the one with the stairs.🤷♂️ Maybe it got patched or something.
I'm not interested by this stairs at now, but that's an incredible exploitation of the game's mecanics. You're a genious and deserve more views and followers. Keep going !
I wish I could take credit for the glitches, I didn't come up with them. I just wanted to share them with as many people as possible. (A friend showed them to me, and I'm just passing them on)
I think I know what you mean, but I don't think there's a "way to do it". I think you just have to be on a hill that allows for more than one foundation. Have you seen it done differently? If so could you show me a Pic and I'll try to figure it out?
I want to merge nine of those generators that you use and connect them to each other. I have a spot in my camp that they want to clean up. How would I do that?
To merge 1 generator to another 1... place 1 on top of another, connect the two, then merge it down with the pressure plate, then place those 2 on top of another 1 then connect & merge, then those 3 on top of another 1, etc. Kinda like I did in the spiral stairs tutorial. They can't be exactly on top of each other you'll need to leave a little room on each one so you can connect them to each other
So it’s weird because you said they were rustic long benches, but mine look entirely different lol I quite literally just bought them hoping I can try this and the benches are not the same and they do not work the same.
@ yes! I literally bought it from one of the vendors right after this video and it looks completely different lol don’t get me wrong. It still worked and my spiral stairs look awesome!!!! But I just thought that was kind of weird that they looked completely different 😂👀 I wish I could show you 😭

I'm so happy to hear that I could help! Thanks for that!
Can't wait to try. So much nicer then plain stairs ❤ Thanks for ur tutorial ☺️
Have fun!

Would love for you to check out some of my other vids, maybe those would interest you!
Awesome tutorial thank you!
Hope it was informative
So i need the plans for that bench but not sure what it would be called or... do you know where those plans are
It's called "long rustic bench" and you get it from the train station vendors. fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Plan:_Long_rustic_bench
Ok, but now how do you make another floor without the actual staircase? The game doesnt allow me to build another floor without putting a stair first
The "top floor" is actually a roof piece, used as flooring. I should have pointed that out in the video, sorry I wasn't clear on that.
Please show us how to “stack” foundations, to make a wall of foundations.

May i ask why you want 9? 1-4 should do your whole house including extractors and vendors

@@ShamelessTrouble I'm powering up my Fusion core recharger. I could show you sometime
Cool, next time I'm on.
Glad it worked out!

@angay9614 word i wonder what happened, there's rustic long bench and Benches and pews, it's one of them lol
@ yeah same 😂😂
I can’t even stack these benches
You can do it, it just takes patience
Cut the first five minutes you take to long cut to the chase
Sorry you feel that way, hope it was still helpful
@@ShamelessTrouble I was in a bit of a mood tbh that said the intro did take way too long tho
It's cool, to each their own. I try to do my best, I don't always succeed
