Many Interesting Finds from the Battlefield! WW1 Metal Detecting

WW1 Metal Detecting. In this video, I showed a search with a metal detector at the site of a military camp that was on the battlefield of the First World War. I found many interesting finds - a belt buckle, artillery shells, a WW2 German belt hook and old coins from the 18th century. I hope you enjoyed my treasure hunt.

The sandy ground really preserves the copper unlike here in Flanders where there is mostly clay making it oxidize
