Active galaxies are some of the most fascinating objects in the universe. They emit copious amounts of energy, often far exceeding the energy output of an entire galaxy of stars. But what makes them so active? Dr. Fischer will explore the nature of active galaxies, including their energetic processes and the role they play in shaping the universe we see today. Hear about some of the latest research in the field, including the use of telescopes and other observational tools to study these enigmatic objects. Join us on this journey to the heart of the most powerful objects in the cosmos.

This is a great lecture. Mr. Summers is a great host! Mr. Fischer is one of the best astrophysicist speakers who explains the very difficult science of black holes in a general scientific manner. Thank you and good job. 👍

So many amazing points in this lecture👏🏼 From comparing black holes sizes to supermassive black holes, then trying to equate the energy accreted into atomic bombs, it all really was well said.
Also there is nothing better than all 3 presenters getting to chat about space at the end!!!

Will we see FrankSummers again in 2024 ??
Then hopefully covering the findings of the HST !!
What they are doing right now in their hollywood/Disney style coverage of their content is just unbearable...
