You hear very good music! This is one of my Yes favorite songs! This song was composed mainly by drummer Alan White (That's why he plays the piano in the beginning) and bass player Chris Squire, now both are in heaven...😪
Even if you are not a YES fan . They are the finest set of musicians that have ever been . Chris Squire ,rest in peace . John Anderson please live forever.

Tears each time I see and hear this song. Your reaction is nagnificent. Thank you. I visited this concert, in Utrecht, the Netherlands, where it was recorded i believe. Never seen a better concert....
In 68 a 6ft 4inch choir boy meets a 5ft 4inch self taught singer in a bar, a match made in the presence of the divine. The vocal harmony is divine. Your reaction brought a tear to my cheeks.God bless.🙏
Hi my beautiful friend. It's been awhile since I saw this awesome vlog. Yes has always been one of my favorite groups. They are more than just a collection of brilliant musicians. They're are magical. I love you and your channel. You always look beautiful and i love your emotional reactions and your spot on interpretation of the songs. You have a beautiful soul. God bless you always and keep up the wonderful vlogs. Love you so much my beautiful friend. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Followed by Gates of Delirium. In 2001 this came out and Lord of the Rings. With my 4 year old finally asleep I would relax listening to Yes Symphonic. Great days.
Huge Yes fan. I've been fortunate to work with them and also to see them perform in several different countries around the World. There is nothing like a Yesshow.
I decided to ask my wife to marry me while listening to this album. I'm not religious, but the music affects me the same way anyway for the past 40 years.
I've seen them live a few times over the last 35 years, most recently in June this year. I discovered this song quite late and in my opinion it ranks up there with some of their greatest efforts.
Perhaps the final great Yes song. Alan White had ten years of piano and contributed the main keyboard parts. Wakeman was not a member at that time but soon rejoined.
If we were flowers we might well worship the sun, because that light/energy is the source of their life, sustenance and flourishing. But our spiritual nature needs more than just physical energy. It is "grace", the environing energy of God, that is "sunshine" for our souls. (Some have) "... supposed that either fire or wind or swift air, or the circle of the stars, or turbulent water, or the luminaries of heaven were the gods that rule the world. If through delight in the beauty of these things men assumed them to be gods, let them know how much better than these is their Lord, for the author of beauty created them. And if men were amazed at their power and working, let them perceive from them how much more powerful is he who formed them. For from the greatness and beauty of created things comes a corresponding perception of their Creator. Yet these men are little to be blamed, for perhaps they go astray while seeking God and desiring to find him. For as they live among his works they keep searching, and they trust in what they see, because the things that are seen are beautiful. Yet again, not even they are to be excused; for if they had the power to know so much that they could investigate the world, how did they fail to find sooner the Lord of these things?" (Wisdom of Solomon 13).
If you listen to Relayer with The Son mind, you will discover that Relayer is the finest concept album ever created. The triumphant victory ending the battle of Armageddon, where "the pen won't stay the demons wings." And as we, who love our Relayer, find ourselves "lost in trance of dances" we know that"what touches our soul slowly moves as touch rebounds." And we know that tempo will not cease, as is our desire to look in The Sons eyes. So, we have no doubt about our part. We are ready to be loved. Nous sommes du soleil. We are of The Son. We can see.
This song has a special meaning for me. I can't ever get through it without tearing up. It's from the incredible 'Magnification' album. You should check out other songs from the album I know you'll love. 'Spirit of Survival', 'Give Love Each Day' and 'Dreamtime' to name a few.
I can feel you in what you are expressing! Yes, talks about the divine. Actually another musician i love very much that also makes me feel the same way is Mercy Chinwo from Nigeria
Really enjoying listening to that with you. I met someone last weekend. Someone we were in the presence of asked who we really enjoyed listening to musically and she said right out of the gate - YES. I was floored. She is barely 30 and to hear her say that when YES has been my favorite band my whole adult life let me know this is someone I need to have in my life...She's a dancer and artist.
Unbelievably moving. We are standing on sacred ground. I've only heard this gift to humanity twice, twice. Once just now, and the first time was in New York City 2 nights before 9/11, where this very tour performed this very song. As I was havi9ng bad intuitions about being in NYC in the first place, the standing on sacred ground rang deeply indeed. They were there to prepare our souls for the gates of delirium to be opened upon us. Jon has always been a soother of the soul. Justin of the Moody Blues is also a healer in that way. I suspect that you are as well. You resonate with beauty and goodness. Ekele!
This song is/you are beautiful and I thank you on behalf of all of uz (everyone) in featuring the finest musicians I have ever seen live, I've been listening to this band since 1970, and we are hugely grateful! VBW x
Omg, you look so beautiful Cynthia! And what a wonderful song and an appropriate one for you to react to. Your response was fabulous and touching, as always. I hope you are doing well and I look forward to seeing you do more of these. Here's to your next reaction! 🙏😊💜❤️
Yes without Jon is not thinkable, he holds the soul of this band! And yes, Steve and Chris are the brain and the heart. And R.I.P. Alan, he was the lunge.
This song was composed mainly by drummer Alan White (That's why he plays the piano in the beginning) and bass player Chris Squire, now both are in heaven...😪
was interesting when the bass player followed the violins. they all have great musical memory to remember exactly what part goes where and how many times the sections repeat without the need to read sheet music
Hi my dear.... wow, first things first : You look absolutely amazing with these stunning braids... and I want to thank you for the lovely chat we all had with you during this premiere. Now to the song : I liked this song very much, especially in this orchestral live version. Maybe you should react to some more live performances by Yes ? I already recommended to check out all four epic songs from their double studio album "Tales from topographic oceans", believe me., they are all worth reacting to. All betẃeen 18 and 22 minutes long. So you still have lots and lots of music to discover from Yes and to react to and upload your lovely videos from. Here's to you next one ! Hugs and kisses from your dear friend Gerry
Hey there Cynthia, I've been watching you for about a year now because I love see people discover and react to music I love. I re-experience it like when I first heard it. I think it's safe to say you are a Yes fanatic. You're in good company. When you want to hear some other stuff, I have some mind blowing suggestions.
Beautiful….thank you for reviewing 🙏❤️ “Standing on our sacred ground” I have a new Yes suggestion that I believe you will love New Language from the little known album The Ladder but one which I love
The Symphonic Live concerts are excellent.I think the concert in Amsterdam is class. The choral music is magical.Have you had a look at Eivor? I don't remember. She is my top artist.. If not have a look at Eivør - Falling Free (Live at the Old Theater in Torshavn).I saw her sing this live here in England and I melted.I'v been a big fan for years. She is from the Faroe Islands.( Denmark ).Or have a look at Eivor - Wake Me Up // RTT it is magic.
Eivor is magical ! I saw her live in Cologne last year on October 15. Cynthia already reacted to "Falling free" and in my opinion, she should react to some more Eivor songs.
I once heard Chaplin say in a film that all humans are amateurs, as we don't live long enough to fully master any art. PtahHotep said something similar.
The Carpenters had an amazing sound you should do this with one of their songs. I'll look up which ones had an orchestra. I know that there were some. Update: Carpenters With The Philharmonic Orchestra was a CD that has 19 songs to choose from but my favorite is (They Long To Be) Close To you.
Ambrose, you are sensitive to spiritual feelings as you seem to know. This song is really a sequel to Ritual, a Yes song 28 years before In The Presence Of.
I think whether you mean it to be God or just the wonder of the universe more widely, the way the band tends to put something across can be as powerful as the words. Which are sometimes optional in the Yes universe. But you are always taken on a journey somewhere. Something I think other progressive acts with a similar vibe, often inspired by them, have tended to forget.
PERFECTION!!! ❤️
You hear very good music! This is one of my Yes favorite songs! This song was composed mainly by drummer Alan White (That's why he plays the piano in the beginning) and bass player Chris Squire, now both are in heaven...😪

This music is amazing -i never get tired of it -wonderful!
Love Jon an amazing singer and YES is off the charts.
Reflection, positivity, elevation, connection to higher spiritual presence
Tears each time I see and hear this song. Your reaction is nagnificent. Thank you.

The meeting, another great song from this extraordinary band

Jon & Chris❤❤❤
Exactly!👍
I love that the final Yes song that's so purely "Yes" came from a theme that Alan White created.
That voice.......

every performance from this show was outstanding...the youth orchestra were having a ball
I decided to ask my wife to marry me while listening to this album. I'm not religious, but the music affects me the same way anyway for the past 40 years.
Love you and your videos. Thank you for your great videos of Yes. You have such a sharp and open mind.
I've seen them live a few times over the last 35 years, most recently in June this year. I discovered this song quite late and in my opinion it ranks up there with some of their greatest efforts.
Magnification is my 6th favorite album of all music history. Not a bad song on it.
Perhaps the final great Yes song. Alan White had ten years of piano and contributed the main keyboard parts. Wakeman was not a member at that time but soon rejoined.
"In the Presence Of," was always a song that I liked. You have a lot more Yes to explore. Glad to see how much you enjoy and "get" them.
As a Christian I can identify with all of this, if he changes the words worship the sun to Son. We are indeed all in the presence of the Christ.
If we were flowers we might well worship the sun, because that light/energy is the source of their life, sustenance and flourishing. But our spiritual nature needs more than just physical energy. It is "grace", the environing energy of God, that is "sunshine" for our souls.

YES ,FOREVER

I was there too. Radio City Music Hall...final show of that leg.
I saw them on this tour in Concord, CA and this is my favorite song from the Magnification album I love that you love Yes. Thanks for sharing.

Very thoughtful words :-)
Amazing reaction to one of my favorite Yes’s song. I recommended it a time ago and was waiting for this. Thx Cynthia 😇

You need to listen to Jon Anderson's solo album from 1976 called "Olias of Sunhillow". I believe you will love every second of it.
In the Presence of God!!! In my opinion!!🌙✨🙏✨🌙💫❤️🌙✨💫🌙❤️🌙✨
I want to thank you, youngster, for posting this; I've never seen the live performance. It filled my head with the scent of perfection.
