Great eagle! Trying new techniques also helps with boredom, doing the same thing over and over, can seem to much like work. We don’t want that!!! Great advice Ryan
I struggle with feet of all kinds. My eagles need work but every one I carved has sold. Well one I turned in to an owl after it sat for a week. Face lift and sold that day. Thanks for the videos. You rock.
Hey man! Love the content! I think it’s great advice for a carver to get out of their comfort zone. I started carving bears last summer and got so busy that all I was carving was bears. So over the last 10 months I have carved hundreds of bears and struggle to try new things because I don’t have to start all over. At the same time I’m getting SO bored of carving bears so for the sake of my sanity I have to learn new things. I’m on the struggle bus right now carving eagles, I have a couple that will probably end up in the fire pit haha!
Hey again!! Ya know, I've decided, you're really a fun, energetic person. You teach with so much passion for this art, which highly parallels my ambition to learn, to improve, to got outside of my comfort zone! You get so excited about what you do, and easily hold my attention! I was able to use your ideas to recarve the head on my sasquatch, and now I'm SO HAPPY with how it looks, thank you so much! I have carved, several eagles, and everyone always wants eagles..right? Well, after watching your video today, I realized my eyes have been all wrong! Hard to explain, but here goes: My eyes, were on the sides of the head, so a front view, you would barely see them, where as, on yours. They are visable, from the sides, and the fronts! Also, I think my beaks were "off" I will have another go at them, and hope to capture the same likeness, that you have done! I can't tell you enough Ryan, how much, I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR CHANNEL! THANK YOU!
Not sure if you are carving anymore ? was wondering if you ever put out a video tutorial on carving an owl? I've seen the time elapsed 1, but was wondering if there is one a little more in-depth and slower?
I work actually on an eagle and this tuto is perfect to help me for my carving. It is shame that the video is not traducted in french. Sorry for my bad english😬😬
Do you have links to the rotary tools your using? If you have links to support your page I would like to use them. I only have a light weight dremel and want a bigger one for the saber tooth bus. Love your vids.
big fanny at work I just started slowly about a year ago I was just having trouble knowing what the charge for items if you could reach out that would be great
Not to bad 500 bucks for a round of firewood turned Into a eagle . T turn limbs into canes and staffs with carvings in them for 200 to 600 I use dremels and knifes.
Anatomical study is a definite requirement for top notch work. The greatest art masters throughout history were anatomists.

Your attention to detail is bizarre!!! That's some sick shit!
Carvers cut and recreate
Artists create
You call this a tutorial but when you start to carve.....you go to 90 miles per hour. Hard to learn anything at that speed
