The only way to find out if there's talent, joy or whatever is to support.

@@DandyHippo You don't know what you're talking about. She was (and still is) just a kid. She doesn't know what to do with the money. Her parents are responsible for ALL the support she has.
Her first competition was in São Paulo, 1.500 miles from the city where they lived back then. They didn't have the money for the airfare, so they took a bus ticket (2 days long travel). She won the competition, but they didn't have the money to go back to their city and the parents had to figure out a way to do that.
So yes, she did all the money they have today, but without all the parent's support, using the short money they had back then trying to make her dream come true, today would be just a dream.

The Olympics in Tokyo changed everything, thank you to Rayssa! Because, my dad fall in love to watch her doing her tricks at skateboarding, and felt so guilty to not purchased a skate for me sooner. Enfim… Genuinamente merecedora de tudo! Gigante! 💜🧚🏽

0:15 I jumped a lot in the late 90s on this sidewalk of the legendary "Casas Garotti" in Imperatriz- Maranhão- Brazil, but on inline skates. Happy to know that years later this same sidewalk served to make Raissa's talent viral. So cool!

She's taking women's skateboarding to another level. Most of the time when people talk about female skaters and say "she's not just good for a girl, she's good for a skateboarder", they're just being nice because the reality is that, in general, women's skateboarding isn't on the same level as men's. That's just a fact. When they say that about Rayssa, though, it's the truth. She's doing stuff that some male pros wouldn't even try, and she's still only 16. Gonna be crazy to see what she's doing in another 5-10 years. Really wanna see a proper video part from her.

It was SLS Super Crown 2018 in Rio de Janeiro, held in January 2019. But she didn't make it to the finals.

Rayssa is mastering it beautifully. Her and Chloe Covell are hands down my favourite rippers rn. How quick they progress is insane. 💪🏻❤️
