Oh and also he is into Nolan movies which have amazing music for its drama. I believe that’s why NF picked this type of sound for his songs

I think the orchestrated sound aligns with the whole cinematic/dramatic theme he has, probably better for unleashing some emotions

I always think this song is a continuous travel of the Search. We are all Searching for the map to hope and to heal and ease our burdens.
in that last scene i feel its more a testament to him helping them like he helped hopsin in the last scene. and the avalanche marks the tribulations that are just too much for one person to get through on their own sometimes so we may need a helping hand or 2 to come along.
it could also be interpreted as 2 survivors in a sea of lost in that avalanche. the many people who just werent able to find their way in time. couldnt work through the pride and pain. only the 2 left standing managed. indicative of the low percentages of people who even with help, just cant shake their demons in life.
either way you look at it, it is a powerful message.
many different interpretations could be made here and i find that fun and interesting all on its own.

I REALLY enjoy you actually thinking about and discussing different aspects of his music. Having said that, these are reactions that I would come back to to listen again. I know I'm probably not the only one that will go back and binge reactions to a favorite artist, and having one person that has reacted to everything I want to listen to really provides a different perspective.

I just found out that. He used the "Serum" line and came to say that. Pull a "Bane" on em . Bane uses serum or venom to get powerful.

"Aren't we all just searchin for the serum. That could help us breath, and leave our state of peril". NF put out the Clouds Mix Tape because of COVID. He was unable to get in the studio, and work alongside others to produce a complete album. As we know Nate is a prolific writer. So, he put out this mix tape, just so he could get these songs out, and off his chest. NF is saying we are all searching for a cure to COVID, so we can get back to the norm....
Never heard this perspective before...interesting. My interpretation of the serum line is more generally speaking about wanting relief from the hardships we all go through. But ur take on it was cool. Love hearing how everyone interprets songs in their own way💯
I don't believe that line was intentionally about Covid since Lost was actually written and shot before Covid. Covid kept it from being released hence why it was put on the Clouds Mixtape. However, it is funny that Nate always has a way of incorporating lines that fit so many situations in the present.
@@reneedisabatino3693 agree, ive always seen it as a life serum, as you said, for few reasons, 1 this was filmed and shot BEFORE Covid.. it had to be shelved a year before release.. 2. In The Search, he has a similar line about finding the “antitode to crack the code”.. 3 most beautiful part, the double “leave our state of peril” “leave our state APPAREL”.. follow through with the clothing scheme.. so it makes sense.. prides his safety wall.. but arent we all looking for the answer to not need such a constricted life, and be able to feel joy without the anxiety of fear rearing his head to tear us down?
