I'm the software developer of the Linde Lancer COBOT (welding and plasma-cutting robot) shown at 15:53 in this video. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the show. I'm a fan of Atlas Survival Shelters, Canadian Prepper, etc. Thanks for taking this video, so I can see my robot on the floor. Very cool!
Thank You for showing that amazing display of cool and useful stuff . who knew there were so many products and companies , but then again fabrication is world wide
Very, very interesting mate. At some stage hopefully I'll be learning mig and tig welding so I can build a decent fishing and diving boat(aluminium). Almost all of the equipment you were showing was well beyond me but still very interesting. Have a ripper mate!
This is currently the most-viewed video from Fabtech 2022. My favorite part of the video is the laser/magnet layout/welding table at timestamp 37:05 It's not the right tool for high-volume production but it could really speed up one-off jobs. The inventor didn't show it, but it would be trivial to display numbers over the workpieces for build instructions or part sizes. For example, the laser could say "Make this from 304 Stainless and drill a 12mm hole HERE " Unfortunately, this will never become popular at $55,000 - especially since the technology could be replaced by a $500 laser projector connected directly to the CAD workstation.
Hi Ron, I really like all the latest gadgets shown on this video, but the video itself is a bit shaky and is hard to focus, might even make some people dizzy. But I'm impressed with all the advanced equipment, simply amazing.
hope that suggestion saves you enough money and you remember me to give me a discount because i am not a millionaire but dream of getting your bunker but i live in Arkansas
You should check out Fireball Tool which is American, and his videos on tables vises clamping systems etc. nice to see you there A Fan of CP in Canada as well. Hey you happen to have an older tig foot pedal with the old style plug connectors, I have a older Miller Dialarc HF - I picked it up for a hobby welding for tig, older welder/fitter. Still need to get the Hoses and torch and ground and a cooler for doing the aluminum - Just in case you had some old gear kicking around :) Help me get set up and I can do any small parts for ya that need some welding, if you have any shops in Canada - shipping now a days oh boy! $$ Just working out of my single car garage, fun stuff :)
Elon deleted 1/3rd of his robots. Wonder who he sold them to? I can see a full rolling assembly line for your shelters with the robot arms welding. AGT looks like what you need.

Steve,
You should add CMM capabilities to your robot.
As a welding inspector, I love this. I was there and man, welding is a huge industry

that was massive and I hope that you found a few things to help speed up your production on you shelters cheers for posting Ron.
What a great shot of our marketing manager, Tess, talking about the optrel CLT!
Welder's toy store. I'm passing this along to my fellow shipfitters on the USS Slater Museum. Thanks, Ron.
Nate at Canadian prepper needs a bunker!! lets see it please!! full in-depth build and install!!
Holy sweet Comic Con, Batman!!
As A retired Millwright We set and installed robot arms , in production plants.
Excellent video, really enjoyed watching everything you shared.
That robot seam welder would be great
Very cool, very very cool! A lot of stuff on the wish list there!

I have been in the steel fabrication business for 23 years and I didn't know half that shit even existed awesome video thanks
Brilliant content.
Ron always flirting!! lol
Do you install any solar power generators in the bunkers for backup
In the bunker? 🤔 I’m assuming outside? I believe he’s done something like that, also some wind turbines.
Fantastic video on welding material. Who is the narrator. You need to hire him. Take care and be safe Mr. RO,N

I like the videos
i'm seeing this 3 months late, thanks to RUclips.
Did you bring one of your welder employees to the Fabtech Expo to give his enduser feedback on what is there?
Spend more time at the displays we can afford. STRONG HAND TOOLS
you should really look at liquid oxygen and propane cutting, its cheaper unless your cutting a lot of 1" thick steel
Love the longer videos.
@38:12 That has to be one of the most beautiful female specimen I've ever laid my eyes on. Absolutely drop dead gorgeous! 😍
You need a new Method of soldering - use an Thermit and you can do miracles directly in the place
Yolo
So, what did you buy? Or is that stumbling into trade secret territory?
Only the sweeping push broom and the cutting torch carts for now

Nice exhibition ,where is it?
This year it was in Atlanta.
It happens in November every year.

In 2024 it will be in Las Vegas.
