Paul, the gray mat you founded, is for cutting fabric pieces to make a quilt. There is a special cutter you use to cut the pieces. I have 3 of them

I know I wouldn’t be a good scrapper because I would be looking for stuff to bring home. Back in the day, we kids would go out on “junk night” and have a ball looking through the trash. The man who used to live next door to me and I would go dumpster diving at all the apartment buildings here. I have a whole big box of Magic cards that are in excellent shape. Plus, a diamond stud earring I’m wearing now. The sunrise you filmed was breathtaking. So is Olivia. 🤩 I remember we used to have a burn barrel in our backyard growing up but they’ve banned it since. Hope your days continue to be fruitful and blessed!

When my son outgrew wanting to play the trombone I donated it to the school music dept. in the hopes that a student who could not perhaps afford, one, would still have the opportunity to learn to play one.. it delights me to see you pick up things other than scrap metal that still have a useful life and it can be donated to benefit others (like the sleeping bags) I also love that you recycle treasures like the flower pots yourself as it would be sad to see them going to the landfill when they were in fine condition to be used again
Lots of drums today . A set of them and a burn barrel LOL I may try my hand at container gardening on my balcony again this year. The neighbors that stole all my produce have moved out . I quit after that happened . New neighbor so maybe I could make a go of it . I thought the squirrels were stealing my stuff until the lettuce disappeared and I realized squirrels don't carry scissors. I hope you have a great garden . Blessings Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤

Why are people throwing out these beautiful instruments. There are plenty of kids around the world that would love to have a drum set. That battery jumper and compressor was a good find. I would keep it in the back of Clifford just in case of an emergency.

Hey Paul, you always pull off the front of fans as you throw them in your truck. Next time you find a nice big metal cover for the fans, save it for use with your burn barrel just another top to keep things from floating away in the air from the burn pile in the barrel. When we lived in Switzerland 🇨🇭 the people would sneak out under cover of darkness to search for trash to treasures. We would see shadows creeping about and I thought it was comical. I've always picked up brand new furniture etc because we've moved so much and would rather just give it away to Salvation Army. Goodwill has upped their prices again and I've heard they're not as upstanding as originally thought. I used to have garage sales growing up and continued into my adulthood. My mom thought it was funny that every person who stopped by I managed to sell them some item. I got quite good at it. I managed to meet a man who liked the same thing so we've had alot of fun over the years. Please pray 🙏 for me. Arthritis is keeping me from doing that nowadays and I don't want surgery for my future...love your videos, serenity now times, your communication with Michael and others and especially the wonderful items like the drum set that you find 😊 bless you abundantly above and beyond 😇
Sorry to hear about the arthritis. I am so praying for you right now. I can relate somewhat, because my hands and joints hurt. I've never had an official diagnosis, but I think that's arthritis in my hands. Thanks for your ever kind comments. They help me. Seriously

Paul around Massachusetts those clean barrels can sell for up to $30 each, a little less for the 30 gallons I would have bought each and every on @ 5 a piece, they'd sell fast.

Took my electrical cables in today to the scrap yard 3 bags what we call hippo bags what you use for sand or dirt and 2 bags off thick electrical cables from underground and got £6995 off good British pounds

Entertaining as always and a great score on that drum kit! 🥁🥁🥁 just want to put it out there around 24:31 in that blue bin with the aluminati~ 😆that window pane jammed up on the inside, I'm pretty sure that's a leaded decor glass window, I've found a few of those in the past and its easy to pull with gloved hands or pop the glass out with a soft mullet whilst keeping the window over the top of the recycle bin for the bits to drop in. Where I live they recycle the glass so it's a no brainier and I ended up with about 4 and a bit kg's of lead . I melted that along with my wheel weights and lead batteries and ended up with a nice collection of ingots for with some I was able to sell. Also keeping the lead out of the landfill is one of my top priorities too.
Yes I think you are right that is leaded glass. I think someone made that at their house with a glass kit or glass making materials
