Zoro is my favorite strawhat. He's way too hard on himself, I love it! He's stands before no one besides his captain. Epic.

+Jasim Gujjar i think both zoro and nami fill that role for different reasons nami with day to day stuff like navigating the ship and managing their spending while zoro points out harsh realities and seems to often take lead when luffy isn't around when in a combat situation.

The subs dont even remotly ruin it. They are meant to show his character and who he is. Someone eho doesnt even watch one piece can watch this and still feel the awesomeness of zoro. All the ones in the first show what he believed in and these all show just how stong and far he has come. Loved it

Anyone notice that Luffy has already had one fight that almost exerted him to the point of death, but Zoro has yet to meet an opponent that has even made him break a sweat?

Where has Zoro been really pressured in combat since the Straw Hats got back together? Luffy nearly died fighting Hody Jones (which I thought was a rubbish fight anyway, but I'm not Oda).
The question should be: Where had Luffy real problems against a villian since the TS? He didn't almost died fighting Hody. He almost died while trying to stop the Noah from falling on the FMI. The wound he got from Hody was heavily drilling down because of his Gear3. But he beat Hody himself pretty easily.
If your trying to insinuate that Zoro is stronger then Luffy your wrong! Luffy is the Captain he is therefore the strongest, he pawned Hody easy in the Manga the loss of blood was because he had a leaking vein while destroying half of the Noah arc the size of fishman island.
AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Fuck!!!!!!!!! When will Oda put him in a challenging fight where he can show his real power and unleash his DEMON EYE????!!!!!!!

i will try to not spend many words. There are many reason for how much i love one piece, but i can't lie if i told you that the strongest one is because Oda created the best epic badass not-main protagonist of the story of the anime. Dankeschon Marc for having remind me that reason. Zoro.

Well, he needed guidance by Perona to get there in the first place.
Lokiraak im still surprised though coz no matter how much guidance he gets he still manages to get lost :P
Not if he is turned suicidal the very second he goes off-track. xD
Divya Rana Legend says that before Zoro left Mihawk told him that the rendezvous point had changed, and he was supposed to meet Luffy in East Blue. Zoro got lost and ended up at Sabaody Archipelago, just like Mihawk had predicted he would.
RenegadeElite101 if thats true then mihawk is a smart ass but i doubt since perona was with him to guide him :P

Zoro. No one is more awesome and stature more impressive than you! Although sanji has kicked virgos ass and even defended the crew from joker-san... still my opinion of zoro will never change.
Sanji did not kick Vergo's ass he did put some good hits into Vergo with an seemingly better fighting style but Vergo did manage to fracture Sanji's leg and he did not go all out Sanji really didn't stand much of an chance Vergo has stronger haki from what we seen with Sanji.
Well those facts are true, but Sanji is a main character, he would have won and overcome it, like when he first did Diablo Jamble or any of the other moments.
The crew nearly always win their fights and get stronger from them all.
It would suck if they would already have a serious battle. Way too soon.
Still hope he will fight against Diamante who seems like being the strongest guy Flamingo has. But we'll see, cause after all he seems like fighting soon in the Colosseum as well.
