does the belt tensioner lock when you take a tension off (like the N18 petrol version) or is it a case of remove the belt whilst keeping tension off using a spanner and it will just snap back into place when you remove tension/spanner ?

What problem had the car that made you change the crankshaft pulley? Batterie not charging and engine overheating ?

Do you need to do anything with the timing? OR are you just making sure the new pulley goes back exactly the same way as the old one came off?
Nothing needs to be done with timing, this pulley only affects ancillaries.
How do you stop engine turning
