People get killed, harassed, and etc. Just because they are trans. You are refusing and denying to accept the fact this is still a problem in our society. Don't turn a blind eye because you don't experience it.
I'm what you'd call a straight white guy and I'm so happy so many people have a voice through Yungblud. As a father of two it tears my heart apart to think of all the kids who were abandoned or rejected by their parents who were supposed to be the last line of defense and best support to them. Hopefully we will put all the divisive culture wars behind us, keep the good and heal the evil.

38 years old and my parents are still stuck in denial I sent my mother one last voice message and won’t be talking to her ever again. It’s sad really when I’m trying to get help but lost hope I’m just done been done for a while now and I just feel invisible. So many people out there feel this way I know I’m not the only one. Not trying to get sympathy but lots of people suffering and feel that have to do it alone because of the gas lighting from the community it’s sad really. OK kids, gotta tell you my story. I am a 57 year old woman. I have been listening to this young man's music and watching his videos for about a year now. To say he leaves me thunderstruck would be an understatement. I have followed all different genres of music for years and his music hit me very deeply. The music is raw and gritty and I always love the tunes. But his lyrics are magical. They hit you in the heart, no matter your gender, age, race or sexual preference. I love it, all of it. I love this generation of young people that most of his fanbase represents. You all are so loving and accepting. Please don't stop trying to make the world a better place

The thing about Dom's music is that anyone can relate to it and interpret his lyrics how they need to, but still get the meaning. He tries to connect with everyone and I love it. I’ve listened to this song a repeated amount of times especially during work but once I took the time to watch the music video I realized how deep and heavy this song hits. My cousin was struggling with her parents acceptance and she’s come crying to me too many times to count and this song gives you a sliver of what being neglected and shit down from your true feelings could feel like

I swear his songs are masterpieces. He reaches so many people with his music. Having to personally hide who I am in a home where people don't understand me, I find a sort of comfort through his music. It makes me feel less alone.

As a trans boy, this song makes me cry my eyes out every time I listen to it.
I'm barely 18, know I'm trans for the past 3 years or so.
I never really fit in with the girls, though I loved dolls and such. It always amazed me how free I felt playing and talking with "da boyz" instead of sitting and talking about nails and make up with the girls.
I started to portait myself as male characters on instagram, soon enough finding out that I don't feel hapy with myself.
As covid started and I got isolated from my friends, I began to research things and people that are trans, to see their story.
Then it hit me. I'm a boy.
My friends took it amazing, began calling me by my chosen name and trying their best to make me comfortable.
I needed and still need to hide who I am infront of my father, though I did slip up a few times. He proceeded to yell at me and mix me with dirt, making me feel 'scared as f*ck'.
My mother knows, but she doesn't care.
I really wish they at least tried to understand.
I know not many people will read it, maybe even reply just to say "who asked" or smth.
I don't care. I just wanted to share a bit of me here.

I'm the same way. Friends didn't take it too well tho. A few did but I can't tell many people. If they slip up even once I could lose them all. My parents basically made a "keep being this way, lose everything" rule. They found out through a text with a friend and sat me down and yelled at me for an hour and a half. I was and still am dealing with mental health struggles and I tried so hard to express that my mental health is horrible and they said that if I transitioned I'd probably kill myself and/or detransition. I went to a Christian school too so I couldn't tell anyone about it. I don't think my parents realize that the longer I'm stuck like this the worse my mental health is getting. I've known for a while btw. 4 years fully knowing and 5-6 years being confused about why I felt different. Before then even when I was like 6 I'd be going to bed and run downstairs to my parents crying because "idk something just feels wrong". Now that I'm growing up, I get that same feeling and understand it's dysphoria. It's not that something around me is wrong it's something with me that's wrong. If that makes sense. I always liked dolls and princesses and pink tho and now my parents try to use that to say like "see you loved girly things. There were no signs. You're brainwashed.". It's shitty. It really is horrible and it always feels like I'm trapped. This song tho really helps me. I feel seen. Idk it just. Yeah. I cry every time I hear it

Holy moly what a powerful music video. All the actors spilling their entire beings on the floor. The realism of the attacking when they decide to add a bit of color into their lives, something that doesn't effect anyone else really, yet they are still being attacked for it. Been awhile since a music video made me feel anything other then the need to tap my toes
that was so powerful. in my interpretation the hands are like society trying to force people to change and suit everyone elses expectations, and dom's message is to fight against that and be exactly who you are no matter what, and no matter what people may say, you are beautiful and unique. this was such a moving video, im in awe.
