Hey Bryn. I loved Impulse, good drive in style movie with an unhinged Shatner. The Acid King is a documentary on an 80s Satanic themed killing which gave rise to the 80s Satanic Panic as the perpetrator was a stoner, metal head with an affinity for Satan. Jim Van Bebber did a short film called “My Sweet Satan” which is also about the same killing/case. The Arrow Deadbeat at Dawn has all his short films as extra features.
I see a day of shifting movies on shelves in your future to get your new buys into the collection in alphabetical order . Looks like you had a great time at HorrorCon . Never heard of that Shatner movie , his acting style is always fun to watch so I'll try to find it streaming online . Cheers , Tom
When I saw your haul it did make me laugh Bryn - and not in a snide way either I might add.😂 Just loving your insatiable passion for the genre. I think the highlight reviews for me will be Srigala, Seytan and The Black Pit of Dr M. Though there’s a bunch of other stuff I’m also interested to hear about on here including Land of the Monsters, which reminded me that I need to dig out and watch my copy of Tarkan and the Blood of the Vikings, which I’ve been meaning to watch for ages because I really want to see the monster octopus in it. I just picked up Welcome to Hell myself, not got round to watching it yet though. You must have spent an absolute ton of cash. All these Horror cons seem to be way up North for me dwn here on the South coast.

You can't beat HorrorCons for offering such a cool range of rare horror movies. Have never heard of most of these titles, and may try and pick a few of them up myself. That Toxic Avenger box set you picked up looks particularly awesome! Wish they would host another Horror Con in Liverpool instead of the same old ComicCons every year. You can only take so much of super hero and robot costumes wandering around everywhere (lol)! Great video, Bryn, and great pickups.
Yes, HorrorCon is the best in my opinion. I know what you mean about ComicCon, they used to have a lot of horror content, but now mainly consist of superheroes and anime. The Toxic Avenger box set is fantastic. Thanks, Alan.

I seen some clips of The Turkish Exorcist it has scenes that literally copy The Exorcist to a T, so funny. I need to get Impulse, been curious about it since the William Grefé boxset, William Shatner saved a guys life in the making of that film.

Aww yeah! Hope you enjoy Beyond the Black Rainbow. The soundtrack is fantastic, have the volume up super-loud when you watch it... that's my advice :thumbs-up: And maybe lick the back of a toad before you watch it :D Oh, and Lycan Colony... that's another BotW feature, I quite enjoy the soundtrack to that one as well... more lo-fi than Black Rainbow. The BotW review is very funny.

Glad you like these vids, I’d love to do more but I’m not great with a camera so they tend to look like Blair Witch. Yes, Brainiac is fantastic. Out of all the pick ups, I was wondering which ones you’d like and Giant Gila Monster immediately came to mind.

Wow mate you got some wicked stuff there. The Devils Business is good, I've met Sean Hogan a few times and he's a great guy. Check the 4K Disc on Toxic Avenger 3, my one was faulty and I had to get a replacement, hopefully yours will be OK though. Cheers

I've been tempted by the Toxie set myself but I'm not sure how much the movies will benefit from being in 4k, would be interested on your opinion on the transfers. How would you rank the 4 movies? A lot of these I’ve not heard of either so am excited to check them out. I think I may do a video of me watching all four Toxic Avenger films. I would rank them 2, 1, 4, 3 but I enjoy them all. Part 2 is my absolute favorite as it’s the first Troma film I ever saw as a kid. Thanks for watching!
Anyone know what the independent horror movie was that had its own stall. Was being sold on blu ray and had about 5-6 different artworks you could get. The second I left I forgot what it was called. It was a stall pretty close to the entrance in the main hall
