Bit the guitar play on "O ya ka jo jo" is esoteric. It's the best guita play on Chief Commander for me. Still can't get over it anytime I listen to it.
I came here to listen to the guitar work after listening to Mr Segun Awe interview with Agbaletu. The guitar work of this song is something I cannot recover from….,
The song is biblical. When you become tires of your situation regarding the one you consider a rival, then you'll break loose and break free! Gen.27:40. Eko ila gba'ra re l'owo obe...... I love old school songs. Most of them are filled with thoughtful words and wisdom! God bless you chief Ebenezer Obey and the poster of the songs.
A genius composition and track that imitators like PYK Ajao still can't match some 40 years down the like. Wax on, CCEO! You are a blessing to the Yoruba race.
What a euphonious voice ---- endlessly sweet to the ear and unmitigatedly joyous to the heart. Of a truth, whatever has to do with the word of God is everlastingly relevant which is why this music is never out of date. God Bless our beloved Baba Oluwashina.
it means overripe okro on the parent stalk has survived operation of knives, i.e.knife can no longer cut overripe okro. this is a proverb among yorubas the one is overripe okro and his enemy is knife as it implies.
This evergreen song means everything to me in this life. It reminds me of my beginning and the love of my late father for Ebenezer Obey.
The guitar play of this album is of the highest you will ever hear anywhere. I proudly say it can match Santana's legendary prowess.

Eko ila is a okro that is not good to eat for anyone is useless, so no one can be cutting it like good one,
Hard okro did not allow knife to cut it
it means overripe okro on the parent stalk has survived operation of knives, i.e.knife can no longer cut overripe okro. this is a proverb among yorubas the one is overripe okro and his enemy is knife as it implies.
I enjoyed this, but why would you label this "Official Audio"? Did you produce it?
