Greg you missed that Michael Jordan full court move he did down the middle but Luka did it from the side with a defender all over him. It was on Luka's first Top Ten in EuroLeague remember that vid? Luka got to the basket went up and saw the big right behind him ready to swat so he floated to the other side and laid it up and in nothing but nylon. One of the greatest plays I've ever seen in 40 years of watching basketball. Maybe THE greatest. Better than Jordan's play for sure.
You left out my #1 play which is Luka beating his man on the right sideline, going up for the one-handed dunk, seeing the big coming to block, floating to the other side of the basket and flipping the ball up and in no backboard. I saw Michael Jordan make that same move down the center years ago. I wonder if Luka watched a video of it...
He already does a good job of using his size to create mismatches on the floor... Whether it being posting up a smaller guard... If a big is switched on him he will go to the basket! Yet learning from Dirk & Holger about posting up smaller guys cause Dirk had to deal with that... Or Dirk when he was younger had skills to take bigs all the way to the basket cause they were too slow to keep up with Dirk... This kid is already a better passer & probably has a higher BB IQ than when Dirk started out... Yet if this kid will work as hard as he did to become one of the greatest ever it would be wise for Luka to work with Dirk & follow his lead! It damn sure wont hurt him
jason robbins he is a winner and a smart kid, he will definitely work hard, he went from his home to another country at age of 13 just to live his dreams to be the best and play in NBA one day.

mel saint if his floor is Rubio that’s not bad at all. But Rubio was not nearly as polished and a good of a shooter and accomplished as doncic is at this age.
Taller, stronger, quite better shooter than Rubio... Both great passers and both played in Spain since very young but Ricky never has been MVP of Euroleague or All 5 of Eurobasket, Doncic has achieved that at 19. And there were players like Porzingis, Gasol brothers, Rubio, Saric, Bogdanovic (the croatian one), Batum, Schroeder...
He has quick release for Europe, not for NBA. He is not quick enough and heavy for NBA point guard, not strong enough for number 4. I believe he will gain 5-10 more pound end it's over
How can you even compare two incomparable players? They don't resemble each other in the slightest. How about their court vision? How fast does a cutting pass tear down the defence? Mind is faster than matter. Luka's court vision and reading of the game is simply unprecedented for a player of his age. Also, he's an already extremely versatile player. The most versatile one among all the rookies, that's for sure. Ability to do many things well gives the player and the team a great weapon. With that great IQ and instinct, he'll be tearing down the defence for the years to come. Cut him some slack. He's two years younger than Clay Thompson was when he got drafted (and scored 12ppg in his rookie season).
