I’d never buy from a shop , virtually all have no idea how to keep shrimp . Plus they all imports most of time . Get them from a local breeder is my advice

Help?? 😢 Have you ever treated a shrimp with Green Fungus? (slowly paralyzes and kills shrimp) I ordered a set of random colored shrimp from a site called Shrimpy business and one arrived with green fungus already on him. I didn't know what it was until today (they arrived two days ago) when I Googled it just to check what it was. Now I'm panicked 😭 do you have any personal advice? The infected one is in a tiny temporary setup and still super active, but I'm worried about the other sixteen! How to minimize the potential of it spreading 😢
I like Indian Almond Leaves, but my tap water is a stable 7.0ph and it will always drop it below 6.0ph and I have constantly check and raise my ph back to over 7.0ph. Is there a viable option that won't drop my ph, or way to pre treat the leaves or my tank before adding the Indian Almond Leaves to my tank. It is a nano tank (6 gallon) and admittedly I do use a large leaf each time, so some of the blame falls on me.
Richard or anyone that can answer this for that matter what if i have 13 neos and 2 of them are males and the rest are ALL berried females that just sit on my drift wood for hours on end (they all eat and i just got my first batch of shrimplets yesterday) are my shrimp okay?
You have often mentioned that after a tank is set up correctly and ready to go and add shrimp , in a short time babies should show up. I went over six months with not even a berried female and only a couple deaths out of thirty shrimp. All of a sudden I have eight berried females and a bunch of babies showing up. I’m thrilled, but how normal is this?
Great to hear you have babies now. I suspect the shrimp were perhaps not mature enough, but they are usually ready with in 4 to 6 months, so hard to know for sure.
I have thought about making this video, but I don’t have good footage of the pests or diseases to be able to show. Consider it to be on the ‘one day’ list of videos.
Hi! I’ve been having problems with my shrimp dying off and green blue algae growing everywhere no matter what I do. I would appreciate any advice or help.
I've said it before I'll say it again, Your channel is the most underrated channel on RUclips! Can you consider making a video on how to propagate Java moss on aquariums with glass lids? People who have hard time growing Java moss will appreciate...
I had a stowaway teeny tiny shrimp in with my new corydoras.. Figured out it was a cherry shrimp and went back to the pet shop and got 3 more friends for it and he's now out all the time, instead of hiding for 4 days straight lol I always said I never wanted shrimp but I'm in love and obsessed with them
I have a bunch of bacopa plants with a rock formation and Java moss in my tank. I built the corner of my 20 gallon tall tank so the shrimp have a safe haven, but I noticed my 7 zebra danios are constantly swimming through the bacopa plants and in that same corner. Will the shrimp still survive in there if I buy more of them, or do you think the shrimp will get pushed out of the corner I build for them?
I've asked the question on an older video but I don't know if you will see it so I'll ask again. If I breed two different colored shrimps is it true that the offsprings will be all grey ?
Hi. I think I answered this one, but if not, the answer is yes, some of the offspring will be a wild colour and some will reflect the partners. However there is a good chance the next generation will be mainly wild colour. 😞

I dont like those flashes of light during scene transition...
I appreciate the feedback. Tried to jazz up the transitions between main video and shrimp clips.
@@FishKeepingAnswersmaybe a softer one works better!
Will see what I can do. Thanks for taking the time 👍🏻

YAYYY ANOTHER VIDEO!

Hello Richard. This is a really helpful video for all stages of shrimp keeping. Thanks for the information.

Could you make a video on the type of shrimp diseases /infections and their cure

@@FishKeepingAnswers would love to have your video some day as a reference to cure any shrimp infection... Thank you so much!
