- A few months ago, @FlossyCarter asked me if I could produce a custom Medusa head pendant that would be unlike anything the Diamond District, let alone the jewelry industry, has ever seen before. You already know that there was only one possible answer-- here's how I and the rest of the TraxNYC team tackled this monstrous $200,000 project. In my humble opinion, all the LED stuff just takes away from the diamonds gold ect. It becomes more of a piece that you can buy at Mardi Gras for cheap. No offense though I know it’s top quality!
Flossy said he isn't gonna have the LEDs on all the time when he's wearing it. Also I disagree with the whole "Mardi gras" opinion that's what makes this piece special if it was just a Medusa head it wouldn't of been worth talking about but because of the lights and everything it has everyone's attention and it was made with who flossy is and what his channel is about which is technology it fits perfectly with his brand. Your lucky I'm the one who's commenting and not Trax cause he would say you lack the mental fortitude to even come up with something like this and you have the inability to have such creativity and that's why he's there and you are where you are. I’m just “tire kicker.” I buy about 5-10K of jewelry each year for myself and gifts. I gotta say some of your sales people are worthless. Sold me jewelry you didn’t even have in stock. Then tell me you can’t source it anymore. It’s just a simple 2mm 18k WG Franco. Then tries to replace it with a thinner lighter chain. Promises delivery by a certain date and then says he can’t. Won’t answer calls or texts. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. And this is with me being a repeat customer!
Shit is jokes, he can’t source it but “ here at trax we make everything here in the diamond district at our in-house manufacturer”

Cool project but jewelry is already flashy. Try and find a way to insert gold flakes inside of a diamond or other gemstones? Invent technology that changes how we create jewelry, don’t just add embellishments.

Its cool technology and it certainly is a master crafted piece but it atrocious and gaudy. I've always thought the diamonds should be the show, therefore everything else should be understated. This is the perfect example of why it's hard to move from rich to wealthy. If you don't have 20M in the bank, whether assets, liquidity or both, then you have no business buying any 200K jewelry.
That thing is so tacky, I’m sorry! I’d be pissed if my $200k custom creation that was perfect in my mind came out to look like that. But to each their own, if he likes it, I gotta love it.
And only cost about 50k to make 🤣

Think about it and his way, car parts are relatively cheap depending on the model, but if you were to go and get the car fixed etc it would cost way more than just the cost of the parts. You have to account for the man hours it will take to fix that car. Everyone knows labor is what drives the price up if things and not the actual materials or components, but you have to pay the people who actually put those components in place. So while I understand your logic it's just not practical to think that way. You'll only save money two ways with anything, 1 is if you can do the labor yourself and 2 is if it can fix itself, lol. C'mon now.
