bobcat fur vest, I use a Homasote board is made from pressed paper fibers, you can buy at a lumber yard, also might be call sound board as is used also for insulation from noise in building.
This is amazing! Thanks so much for showing us how you made this stunning vest. Only thing left is a hat and gloves or scarf. 😊

Nice work!! Very interesting to watch. I have to make a shawl for my daughter’s wedding in October and the only furs that i have enough of are coyotes. (I’m a trapper and i get a lot of skins tanned).
You wouldn’t have a video on that? Or a link to someone doing so? So far i only made a pair of mittens so i don’t have much experience!

I'd suggest to make a sample shawl first doesn't have to be usable just make out if denim or heavy weight muslin to see how it will fit. I do mine sew on fur machine and gold tape seams so it sews together easy. A pattern you could use is Vogue 7980 it's a accessories pattern has 2 shawls and couple of hats. Maybe Google Vogue 7980.. or check Amazon or Etsy.
