Does anyone know if Grace is OK? I don't follow her on any other social media so have never seen anything since she stopped posting here. I hope she's doing well, I really miss her videos!
Miss your cherry face. Hope u are doing ok with whatever you are going through. Thinking of you and praying for you. Blessings lovely 🥰 hugs from Colleen NZ.
Omg I’m so glad Peggy got a cameo at the end! Excited for the upcoming vlog. And yes no need to read the rest of the Booker shortlist right now if that’s not what you’re feeling - you do you, we’ll still be here!
I agree about the jokes at the end of each chapter in IGMMD, though I liked it overall. I really want to pick up My Name Is Lucy Barton now, sounds great. My favourite book this month was Nervous Conditions by Tsitsi Dangarembga. It was a wonderful coming of age novel and the audiobook?! A REVELATION. One of my favourite audiobook performances ever!
I so look forward to your book reviews! Thanks for your honest opinion. I have read several books based on your reviews! On a side note, what type of nails do you have? Gel, acrylic, dip? They are beautiful!
I just read the 3 Elizabeth Strout books finishing with Oh William. Do read Anything is Possible before Oh William as its more like Olive Ketteridge with short stories about different people in Lucys childhood hometown. It does give more insight into Lucy. I enjoyed the three immensely.
Catherine Ryan Howard's 'The Nothing Man' is the best thriller I've read this year so far! Closely followed by 'The Plot' by Jean Hanff Korelitz. Howard has a talent for flying you by the seat of your pants through her stories, so tense and very twisty!
Reading A Flicker in the Dark right now and am kind of finding it okay, but not absolutely loving it. Have you read Ruth Ware? She writes pretty great thrillers.
A Flicker in the Dark was decent for me. I agree the twist was entirely predictable, but I did enjoy other elements. I tend to be picky with my thrillers. I would recommend Wrong Place Wong Time as a very smartly done thriller that impressed me and kept me very engaged. The premise is that a woman wakes up one morning and sees her mild-mannered, happy, 17-year old son murder a man on the street outside her house. She then proceeds to wake up each morning one day further into the past as she tries to figure out if she can prevent this murder from ever happening.
I really enjoyed I’m glad my mom died. Deffo one of the best non fics I’ve read. I did however DNF Carrie Soto but maybe after your review I’ll pick it back up idk

Hi Grace, I live in Newcastle. Can you buy the paperbacks in the main airport or only when you go through passport control? Thanks!

Someone else just said this! I didn’t like The Plot at all is the only thing but hopefully will like Nothing Man

Where are you?
The Seven Moons is probably going to win the Booker. It’s very good. Oh William is lovely.
Ps Liked A flicker in the dark. But also guessed the twist(s).
The Nothing Man by Catherine Ryan Howard was my favorite thriller of 2020.
👀 well then
It's been a minute since we've seen your lovely face. Hope it's nothing serious. ♥

Ok definitely going to pick that thriller up I trust you!!
Would any of her relatives or friends put something on if anything bad has happened since it's been a long time.
she’s been updating her storygraph periodically! most likely just busy with work and life 🙂

I feel like it depends on how much you can read about tennis hahaha
Hey Grace! Just dropping a comment as I'm revisiting your channel! Hope you're keeping well.
