@rehustaja dude yes! Definitely need more items to expand the variety and create new meta decks. X defense/attack, berries, candy, stones, etc. This game has huge potential
This video is definitively not representative of the current meta. You faced 3 gimmick decks, moreover their setups were very slow, which is perfect for this Lapras deck. That would have been much more interesting to see against top decks with quick set up like pikachu or starmie - probably you did encounter these decks but dit not show the games as Lapras had no chance
I think you're misinterpretting the point of the videos. The meta is the meta for obvious reasons and it is highly unlikely a nonmeta deck can beat a meta deck regularly. Dekks is featuring decks that can work but if you expect non meta to beat meta all the time then the current meta is wrong
@@ATSCOUTERin standard TCGs, well-built non-meta decks can regularly beat meta decks. This game is no exception to the rule so we can expect to see this in action
@@MartinV1 I hope we get too see it too. Do you think the game is too simple for the rule? (Since a game of pvp is really short) Or they gotta up it abit (like increase point cap and deck capacity)
I'm willing to bet they tested the numbers pretty good. They don't want to take away from Grass being all about sustain by letting Water do it similarly well. The 3 retreat cost is HEFTY, but I bet it was a bit much at 2 cost. The numbers seem pretty deliberate compared to some other games where you wonder who pulled what out of a hat.
Did ya'll know that butterfree's ability can also heal status conditions? I paralyzed my opponent's mon using my pincurchin but their benched butterfree healed both hp and the paralysis
When I play Lapras ex deck is the occasion where I'm most likely to receive thanks from opponent after card battles. Whereas when I play something like Misty deck, Mewtwo ex deck, promo Mankey deck, it's like the world hate me or something, I don't receive thanks as often after card battles.
Lapras, Gren with an Articuno splash has been doing really well for me and someone has been really good into Pikachu, but a toss up with Mewtwo. The issue is Misty is such a trash card, I wish it just gave an energy.
"UNDEFEATABLE"... went 0/10 with the deck cuse was in a mewtwo/pikachu streak, before lapras could do anything it was already dead and my board full of caterpies...
I tried the Venusaur version of this deck in the newest pvp event and it's decently consistent. 1x Bulbasaur Family Line (non EX Venusaur), 2x Caterpie Family Line, 2 Erika, 2 Oak, 2 Giovanni, 2 Speed, 2 Sabrina, 1 Pokeball. Pretty funny when your opponent just can't get a Butterfree in range.
I've tried this but with venusaur ex and I just can't seem to set up since it's a double family with 2 evolutions, I really want it to work but it's very diffivult
@rickyruiz2135 oh yeah you low-key need God draw. Maybe not "quite" that good but I've been able to get out Butterfree into Venusaur more often than not lately
Na bullshit i play a lot pvp event maybe 10 times against lapras ex and never lost and i don't play pika or any thunder type deck, it's defeatable for sure 😮😊😂
"lapras for free"
*Cries in 25 packs opened and 13 clefairy and no lapras*
Man I just need a freaking Butterfree and just get another lapras lmao 🤣
Bro I can't pull caterpie for some reason it sucks
I had 4 lapras in 6 packs wtf 😂
I legit thought it was guarenteed drop coz my first 4 was lapras LOL i was confused when i then saw a pikachu on my 5th
Ive legit finished all the missions and no lapras yet
Until you get one shot by mewtwo
This game needs X defense for -20 damage

@@aznballaboi4lifeX attack Blaine? hell yeah, one shot starmie EX
@samuelkurniawan1383 brother think of the possibilities! 😅
Every deck needs to at least 2 shot with a revenge kill mewtu for me to get the viable checkmark

This looks neat! I do kinda wish lapras had 160 hp so it could survive a mewtwo attack but that might be too OP for a basic

Bro brought up hearthstone and instantly got banned. Certified streamer moment.
I pulled only 5 promos and got 2 Mankey, Pikachu, and 2 Lapras EX. I'm learning through these comments that apparently I got really lucky
I've been running Executor EX with Butterfree and have a crazy high win rate. The single energy on Eggy makes switching and healing easy.
Did ya'll know that butterfree's ability can also heal status conditions? I paralyzed my opponent's mon using my pincurchin but their benched butterfree healed both hp and the paralysis
9:30 the misty experience
Free if you're lucky enough to draw one, just one.
Might not be the most hard hitting deck, but still looks like a funny deck to play with.

It felt good to force a mewtwo deck person into conceding with my mankey deck with no EXs he didn't thank me either. Lol.
I made this build 2 days ago, and I stalling match with Lapras/2xbutterfree against a Venusaur lol.
I got my second lapras EX this morning! I just need caterpie and metapod now before i start playing with it.
A tie is just wild. This is a fun silly deck😊
Oh man, what a beautiful, BEAUTIFIL doggo. likes just because of that
You should do hypno/melmetal, really fun to play and tilt the enemy if you hit heads

Dude, Butterfree Executor is the way.
This deck is just decent, not that good to fight meta fast pace deck.
Hehehe 🤭 the Butterfree meta is coming!! Hehehee I’m a monster… I’ve been running double butterfree on everything
Butterfree powder heal is really good
You know I’ve opened 20 packs and not a single lapras ex. Insane
And no trading in site. A feature that was ADVERTISED mind you not even in the game. Might as well just be a beta rn.
Lapras is not good unfortunately
this is budget deck to replace VenuEX or Articuno EX
People that are actually using lapras is crazy. if you win, it's probably cause u misty cheesed
Misty is unreliable energy gain, Moltres and Gardevoir just allow “cheese” water doesn’t have unfortunately

Still waiting for a second copy of butterfree and got 11 mankey ... SOMEHOW !!!
Hey at least this mankey can damage itself and evolve into primape which does 100 DAMAGE.
I would like to use my dragonite deck against this..😁
Bro I missed you so much since I quitted hearthstone. I'm back here ❤️
I might try this deck later. I already have 5 lapras ex xD
Same! I dusted some for shiny card effects.
Misty sucks I have played her 15 times and only 3 times has it not flipped tail on first flip
Healing deck outhealed by erikas and potions lol
you were just as wrong as your videos
Yeah, i had beaten Lapras with Blaine Rush strat very fast
This event is irritating. 3 lapras ex, 9 mankey, 7 Pikachu and 5 clefairy. Not one butterfree. Annoying.
Nope

@MartinV1 Hey I play a lot Starmie ex , Charizard ex and sometimes Dragonite / Weezing and Blaine
