This seems like small beer compared to track and trace, covid loans and PPE procurement. I'm no fan of the SNP, but not sure this is going to convince people anywhere in the UK that the Scottish Government have a massive issue with their spending compared to the disasters presided over by the British Government.
The track and trace cost of £35,000,000 Not the 37 billion pounds that was the total cost of of the covid budget.That first figure will pale into insignificance when the real cost of the failed DRS is published.
The Scottish Governme t bought an app in and it cost less than a million not the £34,000 million England spent.

No not a fan Of SNP and definitely not a fan of the Sturgeon , but if this money was wasted unnecessary then some one in costing office must have recognized this, if to costly Central Government London informed. All three Governments must stop legislation forced in to stop wasting Tax Payers money, we have enough expenditure with the Royals wasting money and to be honest not short of a penny. Internal Government needs a good shake up and Richie is not doing it and Mps to stand and be counted not this back biting scenario make it work.

What nonsense. The Times is owned by a Murdoch company. Notwithstanding that, there is far more editorial independence at the Times than with other papers. Also, the Scottish edition of The Times covers Scottish matters better than local papers imo.
Times Radio ain't bad. I'd never vote Tory but it's pretty balanced tbh.
@@Joe-og6br why did you mention the Tories? The Times is not an automatically Tory supporting paper. It's a little right of Centre, particularly on the economy but fairly centrist on social matters. A number of It's regular columnists are definitely not Tory supporting. It's not the Telegraph ( aka the Torygraph )

I recall the monopolies commission giving Murdoch's potential purchase of the Times the thumbs down, on the grounds that Murdoch already owned a considerable slice of the news media in the UK only to overruled by the Tory government of the day. No charges and no chance to have your say in court.
