- I was able to see an advanced screening of Transformers One. Thank you to The Beguiling Books for providing some contest tickets!!
The animation was AMAZING. The transforming scenes look great in the art style. The characters were fun. Keegan Michael Key as Bumblebee was my favourite and kept me laughing.
The origin story of Optimus and Megatron was captivating. The Cybertron planet is such a cool place to explore. There are so many scenes that really bring out the inner kid in you. I will say it's a completely different vibe from the recent Michael Bay series run... and in a good way.
I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone. I wouldn't say it's meant only for kids... Kids will definitely enjoy it but it also caters to the older crowd.
This was my favourite Transformers movie for sure.
Watch in when it comes out for general release on Sept 20, 2024.

How intriguing is the story and what you grade the movie?
I enjoyed the story. I'm not familiar with Transformers but I feel it was a great origin story. Great plot to learn about all the characters and their stories.
I would genuinely give it a 9 or 9.5 out of 10. One of my favourite animation movies I've seen in recent years. Visually and story wise I thought it was amazing.
I would watch it again in theaters it was a fun experience.
do you think that transformers one was on par with puss in boots the last wish or the spider-verse films?!
definitely on par with both movies. you can tell transformers one was made with a lot of detail and thought, fights were amazing and the world setting was great too.
Would you say bumblebee added much to the movie because I’m kinda curious why bumblebee and not ultra Magnus in this movie since bumblebee is supposed to be young
Bumblebee was a funny side character. More of a comedic character than one the plot focuses on. His personality helps balance out the main crew of the story.
I'm not sure why they chose him over Ultra Magnus. I would guess more people might be familiar with BumbleBee from the Michael Bay movies.
How much screen time did Arcee have?
I'm not too familiar with Arcee. but I think Arcee isn't in the movie. She looks familiar to Elita-1 who is one of the main characters
is it good as a transformers movie? how are the fights and transformations?

The fights and transformations were stunning. The animation is top notch. I'm not a huge follower of the franchise but I love recent animation movies like Spider verse and Puss in Boots Last Wish and this movie is just as amazing in animation quality

I would say it's my favourite Transformers movie. Definitely worth watching if you get a chance
Was it just comedy or did it have serious or dark moments
A good balance of both. 1st act of the movies it's more light hearted fun adventure. But by the time the movie gets to the 3rd act it's more serious with some darker themes
