I worked at this game; what an atmosphere. Scotland fans were utterly immense, French fans were pretty cool on the day too. Result was a total shocker but amazing! (and resulted in one hell of a night out afterwards!)
Best Scotland game in my lifetime, fucking marvelous day. :) Likewise when we beat the French (much respect and love) in Paris, but I just think this was better, maybe because it was the first time we pulled off such a shock, i'm not sure. Either way, we done Scotland very proud. Respect to the French fans too. :)
I love the French guy in the hat gi'en it laldy xD Then swapping his hat with some Scottish guy! If this was England and France, the only thing the English would be trading is punches.
Come on tho. We're obviously famed the world over as being a bunch of noisy crazy Scotsmen.. better still, we made the game exist. How's that for dinner. Just a damn shame the SPL and the SFA continuously look for ways to "improve" the game by hunting the money, rather than bring our game back to its grassroots and force the companies that own the top tier to pay their bills on time. If that happened.. we'd see a lot more Scotsmen given a chance to play football and a stronger team on the park.
It's always the small minority's that mess things up , just know that we don't hate you's or anyone we just seem to have more fun with the other nations at the sporting events and that's what the game is all about enjoying and appreciating others ✌️
We expect to lose but do our best. We aren’t talking on the radio about England winning the next World Cup..it’s the sense of ‘we deserve this’ our rands travel in numbers not for a fight if we lose but for the banter and meet new people. The result doesn’t matter really. We exchange shirts and handshakes we don’t exchange punches. It’s just a game
i'm french but this give me goosebumps each time i watch it ! i would give up our world champ title and our two euros to have this support instead !
That game was incredible, halftime at Hampden was such an experience.. we need those days back! 💙🏴

i was 13 at this game it was fucking fantastic and what a historic result. we beat france home and away. Forever Scotland
