Night and day we are so far behind in technology in the workplace compared to several European nations, parts of Africa to several ports in Asia ( China, Japan, Indonesia, and many others) I was amazed at how fast they unload and load items in other countries compare to the 1 US market. I understand you asking for a raise but you have to let automation be part of the future as other countries will leave us in the dust in the Future. heck Mexico is spending Billions in investing on new port that can load and unload the new super cargo ships as the DALI and investing in a transportation system. it makes you wonder ????

Automate the boring, the repetitive, the dangerous, then on the job injuries plummet, they can move 10 times the cargo with 1/10th the physical effort, decreasing the cost per ton of freight moved which then = REDUCED PRICES FOR ALL!
