Hi! You have more options: use FX like reverb and delay (feedback at max) to wash out the whole track, then u can start to mute tracks (e.g. bass, hats and so on). Now you can advance to the next pattern. Basically you can use reverb and delay to "hide" the change. The second way is to set up a resampling track and use that for transitions.
