@gotove That's correct, but it is also a part of "Walk Your Way Out" which is his latest Netflix special. He used the joke on Conan in promotion of that special. I literally watched it the other day for the second time. And yeah the point of the joke is similar, but he has a bunch of different jokes attached to it(and some hilarious mic work where he's making surprisingly accurate gun noises while 'strafing the survivors' lol ) that make it different enough IMO. But hey, he's Bill Burr, he's never liked people in general, so I'm not surprised its a premise he repeats. I'm okay with that cus he's funny every time he talks about it.
@gotove most comedians use talk shows and smaller venues to test out and perfect new bits to use on their specials. In this age where you can look up pretty much any appearance they ever have you're obviously going to see some of their bits multiple times. It's something they pretty much have to do, no other way to really craft a bit without testing it on crowds in different places first.
